The space
Already in a very rural area, The Country Home by the Creek is even more secluded. A long driveway shaded with trees on both sides leads you to the hidden two-story house in the middle of five acres of woods; it is like camping in a house. The co-host makes sure lots of wildlife guests make regular visits. There is only one smaller house which can be seen from the back yard, all other houses are out on the main road. There are two porches and a large patio area in the back with a picnic table. There is a clear cold-water creek at the edge of the sloping property line in the backyard, just a brisk walk away. The host and co-host live on the property in one of the five bedrooms. Three of the five bedrooms are listed on Airbnb; all rooms have a private bathroom, TV, mini-fridge, microwave, and a coffee maker. The Lily Pad is more like a "suite" supplying as much privacy as guests prefer, while still connected to the main house. The outside entrance to the Lily Pad is connected to the large back porch and has a private sitting area for relaxing and enjoying the outdoors area. Most of the time it is peaceful and quiet.
