Stylish Eco apartment seconds from Camber Sands, the best beach on the South Coast. The apartment comfortably sleeps 2 in a large light airy bedroom. Plenty of space for relaxing in the open plan living room after visiting Rye and Romney Marsh.

The space
The apartment is a new build with Eco features. Hot water is supplied by solar energy and heating from a ground source heat pump. The rooms are large and furnished with stylish vintage furniture and fabrics. The bed is kingsize, the sheets and towels pure luxurious cotton. There is an ensuite shower room and separate bathroom. The living room opens on to a large deck which overlooks the sand dunes and communal garden. There is a small but perfectly formed well equipped kitchen. I have a fine selection of DVD's and there is WiFi internet access.

The apartment is on three levels and accessed by stairs. Check in time is after 4pm and check out by 11am unless by special agreement, I try to be flexible when possible. During the summer months I have a minimum stay of 7 nights.

Where ever possible I try to greet my guests and offer tips for trips and top places to eat. I am remotely available to help anytime.

The apartment is seconds away from a safe clean sandy beach, fabulous for swimming, walks, kite surfing and kite flying. The ancient town of Rye with its quaint cobbled streets is 4 miles away- a delightful walk along the beach or a quick trip in the car. Rye has many excellent places to eat, fascinating historic buildings and antique shops. There is bird watching at the nature reserves at Dungeness and Rye Harbour.

I would advise having a car to get the most out of the area. But the coast and Romney Marsh are flat so great for cycling. There is a bus from Rye to Camber and trains run into Camber from Brighton via Hastings and onto Ashford to London.

All linens and towels are provided, even towels for the beach. There is a Mamas and Papas travel cot for hire at an additional £20.00 but sorry no high chair or stair gates.

I am very fortunate to have my beautiful beach house which I have lovingly furnished with vintage furniture, glass and fabric. It gives me great pleasure to share it with like minded people. I have been renting it out for the last five years and pride myself on offering a comfortable and relaxing stay.
It doesn't matter how many times I climb the backside of the dune the view of the beach always makes me say wow. Whatever the weather the walk restores and blows away the irritations of the day. Sand and water therapy, you can't beat it.
I love to cook and this part of England is blessed with great local produce. You can buy fish straight off the boat in Rye and Romney Marsh is known for its salt marsh lamb. I make my own jams from fruit picked at local farms or foraged in the hedgerows. I always leave a jar for my guests to enjoy.
