This place was perfect for my solo getaway. Small and quaint and quirky. If you're looking to escape, this little cabin in the middle of the mountains is a great choice.

We had a love/hate stay at the Bunk House. LOVE the location- close to the National Park, beautiful setting, nice to have the creek nearby for noise. On the other hand, the roof leaked pretty badly when it rained really hard one night and we were up dealing with multiple places of water coming in, including one on the bed. Overall, very rustic tiny house but could definitely use some basic improvements to make it more enjoyable.

Response from Joyce And Jerry:
We have apologized for the leak and have refunded part of the reservation cost. We appreciate Jaime's comments and will be updating the cabin soon.

The people all around are so friendly! Very scenic and "off the grid" which is so refreshing. Jerry is more than knowledgeable of amazing restaurants around the area. Our recommendation is to at least try the pizzeria and meadow mountain cafe in Allenspark just a short 10 minute drive away. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet place to stay with very hospitable hosts.

Place was very convenient to National Park. Jerry was very accommodating. Cabin is rustic. Good for one or two. It could use some more utensils in the kitchen but for a day or two it was workable.

The bunk house is the perfect one room cabin for an off the grid experience. Having no tv took a day getting used to but after we adjusted, we didn't really miss it. We got out and explored the neighborhood. Very quiet place! Dennis the grounds keeper is a hoot. He was very nice and helpful. We stayed 3 nights and enjoyed it.

We LOVED staying at the Bunk House. We were conveniently located to Estes Park, Allenspark and downtowns Lyons. The house was so quiet at night and the sound of the nearby creek easily put us to sleep. We were able to get to several hiking trailheads within 30 minutes, and the foods/restaurants in Allenspark and downtowns Lyons was great.

Off the beaten path, nice creek right across the street. Enjoyed all the noises of nature. The cabin itself was alright. We had very hot days so the lack of a/c made the cabin very uncomfortable at times. The care taker was very friendly and helpful for places to go/explore.
