Walk anywhere on the farm. If you open a gate close it again please.
No smoking in the building please.
Quiet time after 10pm. Please consider others.

Dog conditions are :
•There is a generous fenced area around The Dairy where your dog can run free. The yard was fenced for sheep. We do our best to make it escape proof but some dogs are cleverer than sheep :)
•You are very welcome to walk around the farm but your pet must be on a lead then. We have cows, big wombat holes, and sheep and free range chooks. What one animal thinks is friendly can be quite scary to another animal.
•Please don't leave your dog unattended.
•Please bring bedding for your dog. They are very welcome to sleep inside but we like them to sleep in their own bed not on the furniture
•And finally for the consideration of other guests please clean up your dogs poop in the immediate area around the cottage.

The best part about Alex and John's place for me was the peace and quiet. Every morning I sat outside with a cup of tea, enjoy the fresh air and listen to the birds and cows mooing in the distance. It was so peaceful and really helped me de-stress. So if you’re looking for a place to unwind, this is the perfect place. I also loved that it is a dog friendly accommodation. Location - The cottage is located in a very quiet spot, but it is only about 5-10 mins from the Kangaroo Valley village and 20 mins from Berry. Alex and John live on the property but about 50 metres away from the cottage so you have plenty of privacy but they are close enough if you need help with anything. There was another cottage for guests about 15 metres away from ours but the cottages face away from each other with their own fenced off grass area, so again you have enough privacy. Bathroom – Spotless and loved the heated bathroom floor but we found the water pressure of the shower head and bathtub tap a bit weak. Kitchen - the breakfast supplies Alex provided us - sourdough bread, fresh eggs and bacon were delicious (the bacon was excellent!). Although the kitchen was overall well equipped, a frying pan would be a good addition to the utensils at hand. Living room and bedroom – the there was a good range of DVDs and board games and the overall space was nice and cosy. There is an air conditioner in the living and bedroom.

The cottage was clean, very comfortable, warm and picturesque. It was perfect for my husband, my son and I to escape for a long weekend to celebrate our 1 year anniversary. The breakfast supplied was amazing!! Spa bath perfect. Great location!! Alexandra and John arranged a cot for our son, which helped us out. The log fire, surroundings and cottage itself were all beautiful. We will be back!!

We had a lovely time at the dairy! The cottage has everything you can think off, is mega comfy and well presented. Alexandra and John are great hosts, really welcoming and helpful. We loved the walks around the property, seeing the animals, the clean air and beautiful paisaje. The breakfast is really nice and the bread & eggs are the best we had in our lives! :) We'll definitely recommend and we'll be back soon!

We had a wonderful time at the dairy with our baby. We had free reign of the pastures to wander and investigate the new calves. The view is spectacular and peaceful, especially from the top pasture. Alexandra and John were both very helpful and mindful of our privacy, but happy to chat when we met them on the farm. We really enjoyed our stay

Everything in The Dairy is well thought of. The northerly orientation of the house is perfect especially in winter. A great place to get away from the hustle of city living. If you decide to visit the place, we strongly recommend to go out in the middle of the night and stare at the stars. The night sky looks very different from over there.
