RENTAL RULES
Smoking is allowed outside only.
Abuse of the property such as damage to the garden, staining of the linens, or anything other than “normal wear and tear” requiring extra cleaning will be deducted from the security deposit.
People other than those in the Guest party set forth may not stay overnight in the property. Any other person in the property is the sole responsibility of Guest. Charges will apply for extra guests.
The owners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities. The Homeowners are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise.
Any person in the property will not conduct illegal activities which include but are not limited to possessing, using, or selling of illegal substances and drugs.
Keep the property and all furnishings in good order, only use appliances for their intended uses.
Pets are NOT allowed. 
Subletting of the property is strictly prohibited.
Housekeeping: There is no daily housekeeping service. While linens and bath towels are included in the unit, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. One cleaning per week is provided along with the linens per person deemed reasonable. We suggest you bring beach towels, we have also provided pool towels.
Guest agrees that any legal dispute will be held to Mexican Law and settled within the court system of La Paz, BCS, Mexico.
Storms: If there is a storm or hurricane, no refunds will be given unless:
The state or local authorities order mandatory evacuations in a "Tropical Storm/Hurricane Warning area" and/or
A "mandatory evacuation order has been given for the Tropical Storm/Hurricane Warning" area of residence of a vacationing guest.
The day that the authorities order a mandatory evacuation order in a "Tropical Storm/Hurricane Warning," area, we will refund:
Any unused portion of rent from a guest currently registered;
Any unused portion of rent from a guest that is scheduled to arrive, and wants to shorten the stay, to come in after the Hurricane Warning is lifted; and
Any advance rents collected or deposited for a reservation that is scheduled to arrive during the "Hurricane Warning" period.

Jessie's home was a great place to make our home base for our weekend in La Paz. It's very well situated, all of the restaurants, cafes, and bars we wanted to go to were only a few blocks away. The area felt safe and the house has an alarm system on top of that. It comfortable slept two couples. Each room has a king and it's own bathroom, so everyone had their space. We loved having coffee on the terrace in the morning. Be mindful that the house is a decent drive away from the good beaches up the coast. We rented a car and had no trouble parking in front of the house all weekend. Bring ear plugs if you're a light sleeper, the street outside is relatively busy with cars and there are a lot of dogs in the neighborhood. Overall, Jessie's house is a great place to get an authentic taste of La Paz in style.

My wife and I just spent 4 weeks ( ending Feb 10th, 2017) in this Casa. We found the house to be everything it advertised and of good value. It is of good size with king size beds, three bathrooms , high ceilings and a large kitchen/living area. I was really impressed with the hardwood cabinetry and trim throughout the house. There is a tiny pool in the courtyard but we never used it because the water was too cold this time of year. The home is somewhat sparsely furnished - bedside tables, a coffee table in the living area and above all comfortable lounge chairs on the decks would have been nice. The decks are a great addition to the house but only two hard, plastic chairs are provided. Renters should know the house does not come equipped with TV, microwave, dishwasher or laundry. There is gated parking but not provided to guests. The best thing about the Casa is it's excellent location. It is central to everything! We drove down to La Paz from Canada and could park the car upon arrival because so much was within walking distance. You do have to drive out the nice beaches though. My favorites, Playa Tecalote and Balandra , are 25 kms from town. The closest was 5 kms away. You have to drive to the two malls and Walmart as well if that interests you. One issue with the house is the noise. Due to cement construction with numerous open screen windows and vents a lot of street noise enters the house. Something really has to be done about the 5 yappy, little dogs that live directly across the street! All 5 would go crazy every time somebody walked by, day or night. We had other family members staying with us from time to time and everyone commented on it. Still, our month in La Paz was a great experience and we would return to this location if the opportunity presents itself.

Amazing house, very comfortable, cozy and good location. We got a little lost and the owner was more than happy to direct us to the house. Over all recommend it and would gladly stay here again.
