Gabrieles house was really beautiful! The view is fantastic, and you can sit outside and see the shining sea, and the moon.. The air condition was super at two of the sleeping rooms, the third one had none, so we could not sleep there. At our stay it was extreemly hot. There are ants everywhere in the house, but they are harmless, and you get used to them. The buses to the nearest beach, Nerano (30 minutes), does not go often (not the four days we were there) so we were frustrated and spent too many hours waiting for the bus. You are better off with a car. The little town S.Agata is charming, and have restaurants and some shops, so you can dine there in the evening. We communicated well with Gabriele, and he confirmed and checked on us that we were ok. A lovely place and a beautiful stay at the Amalfi coast.

The communication was great. We were a bit delayed on the day of arrival, but they were very flexible and helpfull. The view is amazing, just as in the pictures. The location is also very good. There is a supermarket that's only in a 2 min. walking distance. We rented 2 cars, and there was enough parkingspace in front of the house, so that was a big plus. We definitely recommend this villa if you want to explore the Amalfi Coast.

This was a lovely place to stay. I came with 4 other people. We were able to treat it like home as there is a local supermarket and shops where you can buy food and toiletries. The bedrooms were very comfortable and spacious. Having two bathrooms really helped. The best thing for me was waking up to the view of the sea. We stayed in mid April and were able to have breakfast on the terrace every morning. We had a car which helped get around and the accommodation has private parking space which was good. We also were able to get cabs locally to Sorrento without any problems which would take about 15 minutes. Gabriele was very accommodating and communicated well. He allowed us to check in earlier and to check out later. There was someone to meet us to pick up and drop off the keys. I would recommend this place and i absolutely would stay here again! :)

Villa Mimosa was all that was on promised on Airbnb and THEN SOME!! I had the pleasure and I mean PLEASURE of staying at Villa Mimosa for 1 month and it felt "just like home". This was for a very special birthday and long awaited "dream" with different friends coming each week and the spaciousness of the house accommodated everyone's needs. There are steps to the kitchen but a dining table on main floor with separate veranda so no problem for anyone with mobility issues. It was exactly (breathtaking views and all) like the pictures; spacious, clean, outstanding view and location and all the amenities in the home any guest could need (ok, I admit, I did leave an American old time stove top coffee pot for the non-espresso drinkers:) but personally I was most satisfied. Access to the garden and fresh vegetables was an unexpected treat, thank you, Gabriele, the tomatoes & basil, delicioso. The rooftop was an added bonus. Sant Agata is a lovely town, within walking distance from the house and in close proximity to many wonderful sites (Sorrento, Amalfi Coast, Capri, Naples, Pompeii) but with the charm of a small Italian town. Great restaurants and markets to walk too, lots of gelato and good shopping. This was a long awaited trip with friends coming and going and I could not be happier with the outcome. EVERYONE who was there LOVED the house and location. Gabriele or Claudia were responsive to any questions or needs. THANK YOU!!! Gracie Mille!!

Villa Mimosa was a little further out than we wanted to be so trips out of the area involved a half-mile hike with five children through town to get to the bus station and further to the train station. We could have benefitted from some instruction from our host regarding the bus schedules and how to access the different sights, but we figured it out. We probably could have troubled Gabriele for the information, but didn't want to be a nuisance. We wish we would've allotted more time for our stay so we could've seen more of the charms of the region, but we did manage to visit Capri and the Amalfi Coast on two of our days. Communication with our host was good, clear, and timely. Gabriele hooked us up with his friend Claudia who met us upon arrival and quickly showed us around the house. The villa is a beautiful old house with a fantastic view down to the coast. You'll be delighted to know that the air conditioning units in the sleeping areas work well which is very important after a day of walking around in 30 degree C weather! Keep in mind, however, that the 4th bedroom with bunk beds doesn't have an air conditioning unit so if you need those beds you'll want to move those mattresses into one of the other rooms. Our kids enjoyed the above-ground pool on the back terrace the first night we stayed. We kept an eye on them while we waited for our spouses to arrive back from the grocery with food, essentials, and bug spray. We needed to buy bug spray to attack the ants which were coming into the house via the living room door and the kitchen door right by the counter and trash cans. Hopefully the next visitors won't need the insect spray we left behind, but it's there just in case. We managed to have a decent time with our friends at Villa Mimosa, but I have to say this stay was a little rougher than we expected based on the outlined amenities and photos on the listing. The hot water supply for the bathrooms was very limited which wasn't an issue for us since it was very, very hot during our visit so cool showers were great, but if you visit in winter it might be more of a problem. Try as we might, we never did get a drop of hot water from the kitchen tap, so we grew accustomed to heating water in the kettle on the stove so we could have hot water for washing up the dishes after meals. If possible, it would be great if Gabriele could add a microwave to the kitchen to add to the offered conveniences of the home and expedite food preparation and warming up.
