My house is newly refurbished and central (ZTL area). It is located at the second and last floor of an ancient building, only 10 minutes walk from train station, Piazza Maggiore, the 2 Towers and the old food Market.

The area surrounding my house is typical bolognese, with portici (no need an umbrella in case of rain!) and plenty of old workshops, food markets (Mercato delle Erbe), ice cream shops, bakeries, public parks, osterie, coffe bar and restaurants.. A big supermarket, open until 12 p.m., is just around the corner.
You don't need the car for visiting Bologna. You just have to walk through the ancient streets of Bologna and discover towers, canals, squares, museums and monuments.
