Staying here was a great experience, this traditional house is amazing and it provided a nice and quite space to rest after exploring the always busy city. Aki was a great host, friendly and helpful. Her artwork is amazing too!

Aki and her House are just penomenal. This is what you expect a perfect AirBnB to look like - and thus I couldn't recommend it more. The area is nice and quite - yet through the Seibu Express trains really conveniently connected to Shinjuku/Shibuya. The house is beautiful, the room is giant sized, the futon was really comfy. Best of all, Aki and her husband are the most friendly, and helpful as you can ask. Also the Sento 10 min away is nice, and has great electric baths.

We had so much fun staying with Aki, Atsushi and Sugi! They are all very lovely and kind people and very easy and fun to talk to. As soon as we arrived, Aki came to greet us and made us some coffee - we felt right at home. We were lucky to have Aki make a delicious traditional Japanese dinner for us, and we in turn made dessert. As an illustrator myself, I was very interested in hearing about Aki's work and seeing it all - it is very uplifting and heartwarming. The room is amazing, as is the whole house - traditional in design with high ceilings and heaps of sunlight, but quite unique as it's filled with funny little objects collected from her travels and her friends, as well as her own creations. There was always something new to look at! I loved it, and wish I could have stayed longer and spent more time with everyone. When we had to leave, Atsushi walked us to the bus stop and made sure we got on the right bus, which was very kind. If I come back to Tokyo, I will definitely stay here again!

Located a few minutes walk from the station Kamishakujii, a town relatively near Takadanobaba - Shinjuku - Shibuya. Aki and his family are very acojedores and do everything possible to make your stay the best possible. The house is great and with a colorful touch of Aki. A very good option to repeat.

The neighborhood is nice and quiet. Very easy combination with Shinjuku, Harajuku and Shibuya. The house is just beatiful. Aki and her husband are so nice. They help me a lot with their tips and made traditional japanese food for me. I'm very happy with this experience. I woud recommend anyone to stay at their house and I hope I will come back someday :)

One of, if not the best Airbnb experience I've had so far! Our trip in tokyo was a dream came true in Aki et Atsushi's home. their place is magic and they are the most generous and delightful hosts. This traditional house is one of the most beautiful place i've ever seen : If you're looking for a quite place to stay and get a local experience, this accomodation is perfect. We thoroughly enjoyed our evenings with Aki and her friends, interesting conversation, and being introduced to delicious new foods. I would encourage anyone to stay with Them, especially young travelers, or anyone who wants to experience Japan a bit more from the inside. Can't recommend highly enough. Their house will be my first choice if i come back!
