Arrived a few hours early in Venice but was able to meet with Danny and check in early! The apartment is literally a stone-throw away from the Grand Canal which is ideal but at the same time quiet enough to get a decent night sleep. Great value and has everything you need for a few nights in Venice, would definately reccomend!

Close to the train station, it is a short walk with luggage to arrive at the apartment. We selected this location expecting to walk everywhere, which we did, but without luggage. The short walk to the Coop for groceries was convenient as well. The AC was great for the hot sticky evenings in early September, and the elevator was nice, since the apartment was on the third floor. The accommodations were as indicated in the advert, and worked very well for two people. The decoration was tasteful done and very cute.

The apartment (well, a bedroom with sitting area, another room that had a desk and snack and a coffee maker and space for storage and hanging clothes, and a bath with shower; there is no kitchen but you really shouldn't need one in Venice) was perfectly placed. It is literally attached to the back of San Simon Piccolo (the green domed church across from the train station. In the labyrinthine city it is awesome to have an easy landmark. The whole city, and this area in particular felt very safe. The unit is on the third floor but there's an elevator. The bed was comfy, the water worked well, and the a/c was great. Would stay here again.

We had a great 3 night stay at the apartment. We were coming to Venice via train (and had big backpacks) so it was great to just walk across the bridge by the train station and have the apartment right there. Being right across the canal from the train station also ended up being helpful as we wandered around Venice as whenever you got lost, you could look for signs for the station ("a Ferrovia") and find your way back. And even though you were close to the station and one of the few bridges over the Grand Canal, it was not loud in apartment (usual city noise - so as with anywhere, earplugs are good to have!). While you aren't in the main touristy areas by Rialto/St Marks, you can walk or take the vaporetto there easily, and we found it was nicer to stay farther away from those crazy crowds. The bed was comfortable and spacious for 2 people, and there was a little couch and a decent sized bathroom, a decent sized area to hang clothes and store your things, and the mini fridge was perfect to store some bottles of water and yogurts for breakfast (there is a little supermarket about 5 minutes away where you can get 6 water bottles for a little over a euro... compared with the 1 or 2 euros you pay per bottle at a restaurant or kiosk!). There isn't a full kitchen, just the mini fridge and some plates and a hot water heater, but that was fine for what we needed. This is a great apartment, especially if you are coming via train and don't want to be schlepping your heavy bags all over the city when you arrive and depart!

This is the perfect place if you're only staying for a few days as the apartment is pretty basic. But it had everything we needed for the four days we were there. Elisa even provided a few snack/breakfast things to eat which was great as we hadn't bought any food yet our first morning. It was easy to find the meeting place and her assistant was friendly yet straight to the point. The apartment is in a neat location attached to an old Church. All in all we had a very pleasant stay here. The only negative thing is that sometimes the wifi would cut out, but usually it was ok.
