We have been accepting bed and breakfast guests at The Granary since Wales hosted the Rugby World Cup in 1999 initially through Wales Tourist Board, our own website and now additionally Airbnb. The main reason for inviting guests to share our home is getting the opportunity to meet nice people from all over the world. We aim to be friendly offering vast local knowledge, use of maps, advising on walking and cycle routes and which castle, village or mountain is the best. We can provide transport for up to seven guests. For the first 300 years of its life The Granary was an imposing stone barn on a dairy farm before becoming a country home full of character. Character including oak beams, real fires, low doorways, sloping ceilings,
creaky floors and, I am sorry, steps. We have mature grounds and a large field for you to relax in and enjoy. The gardens include greenhouses, a large vegetable and soft fruit area, apple, plum, cherry and Jacks pear tree.
You can meet Maisie, the friendliest standard poodle ever, and Lucy the goose all with safe private parking yet minutes away from Caerleon and the M4 motorway. I am sure our reviews reflect all of the above. We look forward to meeting you, Brian and Debra.
