Great location
100% of recent guests gave the location a 5-star rating.
This large en suite room in the family farmhouse, which dates from the 1600s, faces south overlooking the farm set in South Dorset countryside near the Jurassic coast with many beautiful walks and beaches. Corton is a working farm - pigs, cattle, sheep and arable - depending on the time of year. The little chapel is definitely worth a look. Walkers are very welcome. If you don't have a car taxi companies are available. The nearest pub is 2 miles and main line station 2 miles.

The space
The house dates back to the 1600's. St Bartholomew's chapel next to the house contains the oldest stone altar in Dorset. There is a pretty red brick granary below the chapel. I also run a design business - hand painting china, murals, tiles and fabrics. There are many examples of my work in the house. Design workshops are available by arrangement.

Guest access
Our porch and front door is next to the drive with a short set of stairs up to the landing where the large bedroom and en suite bathroom (with bath and shower,) are situated. Both rooms are very large. There is also a big terrace which guests are welcome to use. It gives you good views of the farm and to the sea.
