This is one of the few places in the area with free parking.
Turou Retreat is a spacious 3 bedroom family holiday home. Open plan living with a large kitchen, dining and lounge area. The huge deck spreads across the width of the house where you can enjoy BBQs or just relax with a refreshing drink or two. Only 5 mins walk to the most popular snorkelling beach in Raro with the Fruits of Raro Cafe across the road. Within easy walking distance, to Muri Beach where you can find top restaurant, cafes, car/bike rentals, Water sports hire and lagoon cruises.

The space
All windows and doors are fully screened. TV, WiFi Hotspot, DVD, Stereo, Bluetooth/iPod docking unit, Washing machine, 2 fridge/freezers, cook top, microwave and BBQ are all provided. The kitchen is fully equipped, tea and coffee is supplied as well as linen, beach towels and house towels.

Feel free to help yourself to any fruit on the trees in the garden , pawpaws, bananas, oranges, guavas and passionfruit. (seasonal of course).

Where you’ll be

Takitumu District, Cook Islands

With the house being on the back road it is very quiet, calm and peaceful. In the distance you can hear the roar of the ocean while sitting on the deck... that's when you realise you're in paradise. The neighbours to the right of Turou Retreat are permanent residents, very friendly, and approachable. We don't have our own pets at the house but the neighbours ones like to visit when guests are there. Beautiful walks on the back roads will take you past many orchards and beautiful gardens by the locals. Local food spots within walking distance are Fruits Of Raro for smoothies, Charlie's for huge eats and drinks, and the Hidden Spirit Cafe and gardens.
