Rare Private Paluxy River home with direct river access. It's a Nature Lover's Paradise! Walking distance to Historic downtown Glen Rose, The River Walk, Heritage Park, Big Rocks Park and much more. Walk along the shore of the Paluxy river *from your own backyard* to see Great Blue Heron & Kingfishers scouting their next meal. There's plenty of fishing holes with catfish and bass waiting for you! Watch the sunset from atop the 14ft cliff that overlooks the river and our majestic Oak tree.

The space
The Guest House is a Nature Lover's paradise! Very private and quiet with large shade trees. There are many outdoor activities such as birding, fishing, kayaking, hiking, mountain biking, exploring, etc. The town square is a 10 minute walk and totally worth it. They have the cutest stores full of antiques and delicious mom-and-pop restaurants. The screened porch is a favorite for drinking morning coffee and watching the birds, squirrels, and occasionally a fox! In the spring it's lush with flowers and there's swimming holes all up and down the river. Take a cruise down the back roads and drive through one of the many river crossings! Come back home to a big comfy couch, books, YouTubeTV, Prime Movies and Netflix (and popcorn) and just veg out. It's the perfect getaway!

Tony and Aimee Baugus. Both native Texans who share a love of the outdoors and kayaking. As animal and nature lovers, Glen Rose was a favorite destination until one day this beautiful, but overgrown and neglected place became available. It is our pleasure to continue restoring it to it's full potential and sharing it with others.
