Hello fellow travelers!
I'm a full-time musician // visual artist living in the beautiful Avenues of Salt Lake City, Utah -- which is located just north of Downtown SLC. I'm within walking distance to public transportation (TRAX, UTA), shopping (City Creek Mall), convention center (Salt Palace), bars (Bar X, Beer Bar, Twilite +), nightlife (Urban Lounge) & biking distance from the University of Utah. Other interests include running, hiking, painting, yoga, cooking, thrifting and hosting! Previously, I was licensed in Recreation Therapy and used music and art as a tool for wellness in various treatment settings. I've always known the power of music because of how it has played such an important role in my life, but to see it working before your eyes in terms of others has been a life changing experience. And thus, I've chosen to take on music on a larger scale. The last several years have been a work in progress in overcoming my fear of performing, perfecting my songwriting ability, networking with other artists, assembling my band etc. and now I can safely say all of the pieces are finally falling into place! As a result of my experiences in trial and error, my life motto has become "flourish through failure" because it's taken quite the round of screw-ups to stand where I am today. I have found that a healthy amount of falling on your face is vital in becoming the person you're meant to become. I now see that the evolution of myself as an artist and a person could not have happened any other way. Because of Airbnb, I've had the time and energy necessary to do what I love while also maintaining the flexibility to host new friends from all over the world. Thank you for your interest.
When booking with me, it's nice to know a few things in advance:
1.) Shoot me a message with:
a.) Ideal check-in & check-out time
b.) Any special requests, concerns or expectations while you're in town.
Example: If you want to hang out (ie. hike, music, explore) // or if you have your own agenda during your stay (ie. convention, work, family). If you'd like a night of music + people + excitement etc. // or if you'd prefer a low-key, quiet arrangement. I'm happy to accommodate either. It's typically quiet unless you specify otherwise. This is also good to know because I am out of town on occasion and I'd like to be around if you'd like more a personable Airbnb experience.
2.) I now have a full-size bed in both bedrooms. FYI. Updated as of July 31.
3.) There is always a place to park near my apartment, if you don't mind parking on the street.
4.) I'm happy to host pets with an additional $25 deposit and with the understanding that no animal should be left unattended at the apartment at any time during your stay. Also, barkers are not welcome. Sorry!
5.) You're welcome to anything in the kitchen (food, appliances etc.) during your stay. Feel free to store anything in the fridge, cook etc. Mi casa, tu casa.
6.) Same goes for the rest of the place (minus my bedroom). Make yourself at home.
7.) I'll do my best to be a prompt as possible with my response to any inquiries. Thanks for reading and perhaps I'll see you soon.
