The space
We are artists who live on a beautiful working farm 2miles outside Chagford, within Dartmoor National Park. We want to share our farm with guests who will enjoy a back to nature experience while camping in luxury amongst the fruit trees, open fields and wildlife.
We have carefully designed the space so it is relaxing, stylish, comfortable and practical. The tent has a double bed with a real matress, cosy duvet, pillows and plenty of blankets to snuggle up in. There is a wood burning stove that heats the tent efficiently and can be used to boil the kettle. Your first basket of wood will be provided and after that will be available for a small fee. An outdoor kitchen shelter has utensils and a gas stove.
Tea, coffee and fresh milk from the local dairy will be provided. A small range of breakfast cereal is also provided.
The washroom is near the main farm house, a short walk from the tent (less than 100m), in here you will find a newly refurbished shower with hot water and a toilet, both have a lockable door. There is a separate sink with washing up facilities and a fridge freezer that you are welcome to use.

Guest access
The tent is in the orchard, if you stay while the fruit is out please help yourself (apples, pears and blackberries) You can hop over the stile to walk around the farm fields, please stay out of the woodland as it is often boggy. If you go to the top field near the main entrance you will have views over the village of Throwleigh, the moors Kes Tor and Coston Hill. Please respect any grazing animals.

Other things to note
Bring walking boots and/or wellies.
A small torch is provided in the tent but you may like to bring your own for evening walks.
The farm is easily reached by car and is just a few miles from the A30.
There is good phone signal coverage and 4G internet.
