We communicated well with Alexandra and she was welcoming when we arrived and gave us useful local info. She also provided a number of street and metro maps. The apartment is as described and as shown in the photos. It is well situated in relation to Gare due Nord and metro stations as well as supermarkets, cafés and restaurants. We really enjoyed our week in Paris and would recommend the apartment for one or two people as it is quite compact.

Two of us stayed about 3 weeks in Alexandra's apartment. The apartment was as described and met our needs well. It is well located in an interesting neighborhood near many cafes and shops. It is also within a few blocks of 2 different metro stations.

Alexandra was very kind and helpful and the apartment was very sweet and comfortable. The area is culturally diverse and laid back, with many conveniences and curiosities. An easy trip to any part of town on the train. I'll miss living there. It was a lovely few weeks. Thanks to Marie Genevieve for the recommendation.

I stayed at Alexandra's place for 5 weeks while working in the city. Great location, close to many fabulous cheese, sea food, veggie markets, and 10 min walk from the Sacre Coeur! Ideal for one person or a couple.

The apt is really nice and cosy. Bathroom and kitchen are small but comfortable, no problem with that. The location is perfect. Lots of restaurants and shops all around. Metro station at 5 blocks. They were still working on the building. Alexandra told me that a few days before arriving and offer me to cancel. I didn´t. Some mornigs there was a bit of noice but nothing else. I would like to come back sometime.

I spent 10 days in Alexandra's studio. She was away and her nephew met me to let me in and show me around. This was my first airbnb experience and I was delighted with the way it worked. The studio's location was ideal with plenty of restaurants, cafes, shops and traiteurs near by without being too busy and touristy. Rue des Martyrs is brilliant. There are a number of smaller supermarkets around to stock up on supplies. There are 2 metro stops within 5 mins walk and it is possible, thought longer, to walk to Monmatre, Gare du Nord and Les Grands Magasins. The kitchen and bathroom are small, but they are all you need as most of the time you are out exploring Paris. The bed was very comfortable and there is a sofa which becomes a single bed. Alexandra contacted me a few days before my stay to inform me there was scaffolding going up and workers doing maintenance on the facade and if I wanted to find somewhere else she would understand. As I didn't have time to find something else I accepted her offer of a discount as compensation. It was a shame I didn't have a view - however she was very sorry and I appreciated the reimbursement.
