The space

This cozy and clean loft-like studio is in the perfect area of Manhattan, on the border of Greenwich and West Village and a short walk from Chelsea and Soho. The space is open and comfortable and perfect for three guests looking to be immersed in one of the city's best streets.

Room will be professionally cleaned before your arrival with fresh linens and towels for your convenience.

The room features a queen sized Tempurpedic bed, a guest futon, spa-like bathroom and full kitchenette. The entire apartment is available for rental - no sharing with the current resident.

The building has roof access, and large windows overlooking a courtyard and trees, offering ample natural light.

I will be in my second residence a few blocks away so if there are any issues I can be there to help right away. If I happen to be traveling, I have have an assistant who will be readily available.

Greenwich Village is one of the most buzzing neighborhoods in NYC, while maintaining old school NYC charm with it's tree lined streets and established restaurants and shops. 8th avenue is a quiet, lovely street, but just a short block to Washington Square where you will feel the energy of the local NYU students, international visitors and locals as they enjoy the outdoors.

Greenwich Village central location is the perfect neighborhood for the walking enthusiast, but there are a myriad of transportation options to make your stay convenient. Just one block from the apartment you will find the entrance to West 4th which will take you uptown or downtown on the A C E lines, or to the Bronx, Brooklyn or Queens on the BDMF lines. It's arguably the most convenient downtown train station in the city. The 1 is a few blocks away on Christopher Street, and the L train which goes directly to Williamsburg is less than a 10 minute walk to 14th street.

Key pick up can be at Penn Station on weekdays or West Village / Chelsea on weekdays. Very flexible.

Some of the city's most celebrated and popular restaurants are around the corner, like Mario Battali's Babbo, and Otto; Tomoe Sushi; Alta; Waverly Inn; Pearl Oyster Bar; and Spotted Pig (among many many more).

For the Village, this is an affordable and reasonably comfortable place to spend a few days, and the space is quite large for NYC. It's nicely designed and offers several places to sit/spend time, which is great. There are, however, a few issues worth flagging: the apt wasn't as clean as it looked in the photos, the headboard was wobbly and nearly fell over at one point, and the kitchen isn't really usable (oven has clothes and other items stored in it, and I couldn't even find plates to use when I ordered delivery food). Also know that the stairs up to the unit are very narrow, but that is standard for the neighborhood. I would stay again, but this Airbnb wouldn't be my first choice.

Nice apartment in a great location, with very good facilities. Helpful host who left some really good recommendations for us. Public areas quite dismal, lots of steep stairs and no storage space are the main negatives. Very enjoyable stay overall.

Nasrin is a great hostest. She replied very quickly and gave us all the information for an easy arrival to her flat. The flat is really conviennent and clean. It corresponds to the description and I would add the the bed and the shower are very comfortable. The location is ideal with some good connections to the metro, a lot of nice places around and little shops. Nasrin gave us a list of good adresses out of the touristic guides that we really enjoyed.

Nice, silent and comfortable place, located at a very convenient area of NYC, near NY University and enjoyable Washington square. Decoration is fine, the place smells good, sheets and towels clean. There is a kitchen with oven, but there is no microwave oven. Please note that it is at the 3rd floor of a building without elevator. Not recommended for elders or people with disabilities. The area is fantastic, a few steps of subway station, near restaurants, bars and cultural activities. Excellent benefit to cost ratio.
