Great location
95% of recent guests gave the location a 5-star rating.
A character 2 bedroom cottage in the heart of Eyam, with views of the surrounding countryside. Formerly a mill, parts of the cottage date back to the 1700’s. A perfect base for those wishing to explore the Peak District, with walks and a wealth of pubs and cafes easily accessible from the front door.

The space
The cottage is full of character with exposed stone walls, an open fire and a some low ceilings (be prepared to duck every now and again). The 2 bedrooms provide flexible sleeping arrangements with a twin bedroom and a king sized bed which can be split into 2 small singles upon request. The cottage also has a fully equiped kitchen/diner and cosy living space. Perfect for both summer and winter breaks.

Where you’ll be

Eyam, England, United Kingdom

Eyam is a fantastic village, with a village shop, 2 tea rooms and a pub within 1 minutes walk and a great restaurant/bar and pizza restaurant within 5 minutes walk.

Eyam is known as the plague village, and has a wealth of history which can be explored at both the museum and information boards throughout the village.

Although I’m Kent born and bred, I love the North of England and spend as much time as possible up there. The Peak District is my favorite part of the UK, and Eyam is a really friendly village. I like nothing more than finding new walks (which hopefully involve a pub lunch en route) and hope that you enjoy the cottage as much as I have over the past few years.
