Lovely house backing right up to Casita Miro. The inside is great, amenities lovely, and the location is wonderful. Small annoyances: all water must be boiled (only 2L provided), and a bit of noise and trouble parking from nearby places. The view and location is stunning though, and the outdoor seating is fantastic. A good mix!

Response from Cathrine:
Thanks for your review. We are putting more bottled water in the cottage. The noise from nearby was some holidaymakers 2 houses over who have gone now. Parking is usually no problem by the cottage and we apologize for that. There was a music afternoon at the main house that weekend and the musicians had travelled over to the island.

This place is a gem. Really lovely and private. I especially enjoyed the walk through the back gate, through the vineyard , to Casita Miro. Top notch.

Gorgeous cottage with views of the vines from the kitchen window. Katy was a great host and left us all the information we needed and supplies for breakfast too. Highly recommend.

We stayed at Cathrine's lovely cottage for four nights and had a lovely time. Cathrine was kind, helpful and responsive. She made us fresh muesli and ensured we had the basics for brekky on our first night. The cottage is pretty small, but perfect for a couple, or parents with two kids. The upstairs bedroom is up a very steep, narrow staircase. The very best thing about this cottage is the location: at the bottom of the garden is a gate which leads to the vineyards, and a walk track that takes you to four different wineries. Beautiful walks, beaches 10 mins' walk away, 5 mins' drive to Onetangi's shops. What's not to love?

We loved our stay with Catherine on Waiheke Island. The cottage itself was everything I hoped it would be based on the photos when I booked it. It was nice to find breakfast in the fridge and I really enjoyed using the outdoor shower! Catherine was a good hostesses and helped us feel welcome!

HI, a lovely location with a wonderful view of the vineyard. Catherine was an accommodating host, and I loved the unsolicited delivery of an umbrella during the rain! Just as a note, the cottage is very small, and would really only suit a couple, or a couple with one child.

Great location for a getaway to waiheke, only a few minutes walk to Onetangi beach. The place was a little smaller than expected for our group (eg one of the bedrooms is a loft and the living room area is a little cramped) but we had everything we needed. Sadly no beach views from the cottage but you're backed up against the picturesque vineyard which you can see from the kitchen window.

I have been a blues songwriter for some years and still perform in festivals in New Zealand. My husband and I enjoy living on Waiheke and have been running the cottage since 2008.
