Living Small in this Tiny House right on the Lake Ainslie is Really About Living Big
This brand new „Tiny Loon“ house is 20 feet long , 8.5 feet wide, 13.5 feet high, and is situated on a secluded private property right at the private beach, next to an old uninhabited cottage feeding it with power and water. It is only 13 km from vibrant Inverness with famous beach and golf course, super market, boat tours, cafés, restaurants, pharmacy, banks, hospital etc.

The space
Tiny houses aren’t just for hipsters and millennials anymore. As Americans and Canadians have taken an interest in tidying up, downsizing their belongings and living more efficiently, the tiny house movement has gone mainstream, and it’s inspiring people of all ages to embrace small spaces. Our new tiny house is placed on one of the most magical places we have found in many years traveling around the world in our boat. It sits just a stone throw away from Nova Scotia biggest fresh water Lake Ainslie, facing northeast an incredible sunrise lake view. Its unspoiled quiet will help you to experience life with open eyes and a new energy. It is back to basics. It is heaven on earth. Listen to the Loons and many many Bald Eagles watching for trout. Swim in the crystal clear water to the nearby perfect sandy beach where mussels draw their work of art in the sandy soil.

Guest access
you can use the entire house, but not the old uninhabited cottage next door (only storage, delivers power and water)

Other things to note
The steps to the loft have grab rails but they are not as wide as usual and may be a challenge for older people or dangerous for young kids.

We (an experienced skipper couple) run our vacation home rental business since 1999, came across the Atlantic and immigrated in 2012 to enjoyed sailing on our 12-meter (38`) catamaran with our guests. We love to explore the numerous dreamy bays, swim and get our dinner ourselves, fishing mackerels and collecting mussels with our sailing kayak/ trimarans or aluminum fishing boat. We love to share our enthusiasm and joy and want to cooperate with you to understand your needs and wishes and to tailor the best possible experience. Do not hesitate to talk to us if we stay in our tiny houses or Sailor`s Rest House nearby and have time for your and our stories....
