About this listing
Set in the incredible, unique location of Sa Penya - the pedestrian only, lively streets of the old fishing village in the heart of Ibiza Town, our traditional beautiful townhouse has 4 floors, 2 bedrooms and superb views over the whole marina.
We have two rooms listed separately within the same house - this booking is for the BADGER ROOM.
BADGER BEDROOM: A large spacious room with super king size bed (180 by 190), seating area lit by chandelier and balcony with views to the port. The bathroom on this level is fitted with new toilet, sink and shower facilities.
The house has first floor communal lounge space with TV / DVD, Stereo, comfy sofas, a library area and dining table.
The 3rd floor has another bedroom (Baboon) and bathroom, this is listed separately. Its a large bedroom featuring a small balcony facing the old town and windows across the front facing the breakfast terrace and port area. The bedroom has a double bed (140 / 190) en suite bathroom with toilet and sink. The shared shower facilities are on the level below.
The breakfast terrace has incredible views overlooking the new Ibiza Marina and its fabulous super yachts.
There is use of small fully equipped communal kitchen on the roof terrace.
Sun Deck. On the very top level is a sun deck where we grow our chillies, herbs and succulents; it has 2 sun loungers and a hammock. Perfect for chilling, watching the boats coming in and out of the harbour either in the evening with a glass of wine or cava, an early morning yoga session or on the days when getting to the beach seems just too hard.
Please note we share our home with two cats, Niles and Nikitia. If you have allergies or dislike cats this won't be the place for you.

This is our home, we will be around for parts of the day but our busy schedules mean we are out and about for the most part.
We have separate living quarters.
Sa Penya / La Marina - Step out of the front door into the lively bustling heart of this super cool bar and restaurant neighbourhood. As well as the fantastic Front line (Port Side) restaurants there are many hidden gems to discover. (we have many recommendations for you) We Love the barrio of Sa Penya and want to introduce the charm of this least developed part of Ibiza to anybody who wishes that they had made it to the island before mass tourism changed her face forever. The rough and ready atmosphere is not for everybody but for those who have a small sense of adventure a truly historic heritage experience awaits them.
Being as it is the home to our Gypsy community the sights, sounds and smells of this lively village (within a town) permeate throughout the many hidden corners and squares. Traditional flamenco can be witnessed most evenings in summer when the locals move their homes onto the many side streets in the area. Family life has changed little over the years in this area where the mother of the household is still the boss. Please note: Our neighbours are very friendly, they are also noisy... we recommend ear plugs for light sleepers.
From the airport: We recommend a taxi from the airport. We will meet guests from the taxi and walk to the house.
We are located in the centre of town. Within 5 minutes walk is the marina where there are boats to all the main beaches, the Ferry Terminal to Formentera plus the Taxi Rank and Bus Station.
Parking in Ibiza Town is limited to pay by the hour meters - however we can offer private parking at an extra cost if available.
If you are ibiza virgin or a seasoned veteran allow us to be your guides to a new (insider) experience of our beloved corner of this amazing island.
Our home is non-smoking however guests are welcome to smoke on the terrace.
As we have two cats we can not allow pet guests
Our home is not suitable for children

Your hosts: Love to Travel Eat Drink Read; music is a passion; Ibiza has been home for more than 10 years, we found ourselves here in the summer of 1997 after long periods on the road in Asia. Ibiza was not on our To Do list but once here we fell in love with the lifestyle, the island, the people. Working ‘the season’ suited us very well, a years worth of work crammed into 5 hectic / exhilarating months meant lots of down time on the back roads of India / the beaches of Thailand / the paddy fields & dive sites in the Philippines… you get the picture.
