Having travelled extensively in a previous life and taken great pleasure in meeting people from all walks, I have specifically tried to make this wee cabin as comfortable as possible with the things that matter the most when you are travelling, a fabulous shower, an ultra comfortable bed and a lovely big TV, all the rest is a bonus and aimed at making your stay as stress free as possible. Anything I haven't provided, you only have to ask and it will get done if it's possible. See you soon.

The space
This unique space is in fact a renovated shipping container. Everything about it is a little bit of luxury and a very pleasant surprise, when you walk through the door.

It is a light airy space with wonderful, ever changing views. Every bit of space has been maximised to make your stay as comfortable as possible. You are completely independent and although there is no kitchen per say, there is a kettle, a microwave/combo grill/oven, a toaster, a small fridge (allowing you to store food and drink of your choice) a bigger fridge in the shed at the back if you need more space, and a toastie making machine. Tea and coffee is available in abundance as well as breakfast cereal, milk, breads, butter, conserve and juice for the first two nights stay and thereafter, supplies can be bought in.

Guest access
The cabin stands alone and is an independent unit that only you have access to and the full living space is yours. There is plenty of parking space available and room for larger vehicles if necessary.

Other things to note
I have always re homed and rescued pets and it is just something to be aware of. It shouldn’t impact on your visit whatsoever but there are two cats on the premises and one in particular likes to say hello. Mini is the wee tabby and Hunter is a gorgeous big blue eyed rag doll Siamese boy. Mini is the one to watch, if you leave the door open lol. Too many guests giving her treats haha. and all that said, Hunter too is getting far too comfortable over there, so don’t feel bad about chasing them :)
I have two dogs, one collie, Bess, who is 9 years old and an absolute sweetheart and Kai, my German Shepherd will be 5 yrs old on the 17th of Oct 2023.
Kai is a miracle as he had such a hard start to life but you would never know it with his gentle loving nature. He came from a rescue centre in South Wales. He was quite broken and was requiring a massive surgery but we had to wait until his growth plates closed which happened at approximately a year old, followed by a long road of recovery and rehabilitation. He is very friendly and despite his size he is a pussy cat, and loves people. He will bark when you first arrive, quite loudly 😂 but once he has met you there should be no further noise. He is well socialised but I will always endeavour to ensure that he is always accompanied by myself because I understand that big dogs can look a bit scary :). I do like to introduce the dogs if you are happy for that to happen but they won’t encroach on your space and they have the huge front garden to play in and are otherwise only passing on a lead, to go for a walk.

Neighbourhood highlights

Spean Bridge is a lovely little village with lots of history, not least, famous for it's stunning Commando Memorial Monument and surrounded by many attractive walks.
The village is only 9 miles from Fort William and approx 57 miles from Inverness, the capital of the Highlands. It is a good place to base yourself and is nice and central to travel to the various places and points of interest.
We have our own Ski resort, Aonach Mor and this is only 4 miles from here. There are plenty of local attractions and lots of good places to eat within the village itself.
