The space
Our luxury studio suite is situated on a quiet, up-scale, cul-de-sac in the executive Southwestern Hills Neighborhood. The neighborhood is safe, quiet, and central to everything. 5 minutes to airport, 10 minutes to downtown.
The suite has 2 private entrances, a covered private patio, and an open private deck so you can easily relax while taking in the stunning views from this hill top location.
Upon entering, you will find is a small dining table and a comfortable queen size adjustable bed with several pillows and layers to accommodate your preferences. In the corner is a breakfast nook with microwave, mini-fridge, and coffee maker.
After you settle in, take advantage of the on-suite exercise room with Concept2 Model D rowing machine and 4 person infrared sauna. Or relax and catch up on your favorite shows on the 55” Smart TV. Sign in to your Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, and Apple TV.
This luxury suite even boasts its own dedicated furnace and AC so YOU control the temperature to your liking. But you won’t have to crank up the heat – you’ll want to go barefoot on the heated travertine tile floors.
Also featuring on-suite, private laundry. Energy efficient front load washer and gas dryer. Complimentary detergent and dryer sheets provided.
Located off the walkout behind our home, your quarters are completely separated from our home by insulated concrete walls and a concrete ceiling. In addition to peace and quiet, you’ll appreciate the privacy of your own on-suite ¾ bath. Clean, luxurious towels, shampoo, and soaps are provided.
If you are in town for work, you won’t find a better place to set up your work station. Spread your work out across the executive-cherry, wall-length desk with under-cabinet lighting. A modern Windows 10 PC, keyboard, mouse, 27-inch monitor and printer are provided, but feel free to dock your own laptop to take advantage of the large monitor and keyboard tray.
Other amenities include, soft water (not filtered) via Nuvo H2O water softener system, microwave, coffee maker, mini fridge with freezer, 1000 MPS (1 GBPS) High Speed WIFI Internet, TiVo Cable, Smart TV, Apple TV, Netfilx, HBO, Hulu, Disney+, Alexa, iron and ironing board, hair dryer, bottled water and light snacks. We use the highest rated HEPA furnace filters that catch even viruses and bacteria, so you can be sure the air is clean and safe!
Check in is effortless. Our August smart lock is managed by AirBNB. Once you book, an entry code is automatically sent to you. Check-in is typically after 4 p.m. and check-out is typically 11 a.m. If we don't have other guests checking out of the room then early arrival would not be a problem. Late check-outs are not a problem provided we don't have other guests checking in. Please let us know if you are arriving early or leaving late. We are glad to accommodate flexible check-in and checkout times – just ask!
There is tons of storage for long term guests.
We are close to great local trails, there is a nearby tennis court and Greys Lake is only 5 minutes away.
Our entire home is wired for smoke and CO2 alarms in all rooms. For our safety and yours, the entire perimeter of our home is 24x7 recorded video surveillance. Our home is equipped with a full home security system that is monitored by a 3rd party. Door, window, and inside motion sensors are monitored. Our security system will note when doors and windows on the BNB suite are opened or closed. There is also a motion sensor within the BNB suite, but again, these sensors are for everyone’s safety. There are NO cameras or audio recording devices within the BNB suite.
Our home was recently tested for radon and passed well within the safe guidelines.
All special requests gladly considered :)
Entry to the unit does require the ability to go up and down 1 full flight of stairs. If stairs may be a problem, this AirBNB suite is not for you.

Guest access
Guests may only access the guest suite, which has a studio office/bedroom, exercise room, laundry, bathroom and hallway. There is a locked door that separates the suite from the rest of our home. Guests may use the covered patio and the private deck off the back. A divider separates your deck space from ours.
Other things to note
After each guest checks out, ALL surfaces are cleaned with disinfectant. Door knobs, door handles, light switches, counters, drawer handles, keyboard, mouse, remotes, chairs, table, laundry dials, trash cans, rower, sauna, etc., are all disinfected prior to your check in.
