Jungle Bungalow is a charming . stone and brick house, large patio, close the beach, stores, restaurants, spacious patio with outdoor grill overlooks a lush gated garden with bananas and papaya trees. Just outside the gate is the beautiful natural Horcones River. It has one queen and one double bed, one accessed by a ladder that folds out from the wall. Decorated beautifully and tastefully it has a fully equipped kitchen, AC, overhead fans, and access to a laundry room. Reverberates with charm.

The space
Casa Cereza is a small intimate estate consisting of three apartments, each with their own personality and decor, indoor and outdoor dining area, spacious interconnected patio areas and a large outdoor barbecue on the main patio. Although each apartment has its own defined outdoor space, we strive to create a space of cordiality, peaceful ambiance and casual interaction, a place to relax and decompress… the rest is up you.

Guest access
Parking is on the other side of the river, there is both free parking and paid parking. Because Boca is a beach town it can get very busy during the day before visitors leave the beach. Boca is a very rustic little town with natural terrain, cobbled streets and hiking paths, completely self-sufficient with stores, restaurants, hiking, fishing, snorkeling, birdwatching… All nestled against the natural terrain of beach, river, and mountains

Other things to note
Boca is a little self-sufficient Mexican town where chickens and dogs run free with occasional loud music. If you have any mobility issues understand that the town has some unpaved roads, dirt paths and access means walking across a swinging bridge. Taxis, stores, pharmacies, coffee shops, small markets for groceries. Meat and fish can be bought fresh. Close to small villages to the south by hiking or water taxis. As a whole, it is a perfect place for small group vacations. Activities here includ snorkeling, fishing, hiking, zip-lining, waterfalls, kayaking, day trips to other towns, it's close to downtown and cabs, ubers, buses and water taxis going to towns and beaches to the south.

Pets: dogs only, maximum 1 and small or medium dogs only, must be well-behaved. Fee of $25 apply

Neighbourhood highlights

Boca de Tomatlan is unique, an experience, dogs and roosters and occasional parties with Mexican music are expected but most nights are e quiet. Our pueblo has all the basics you need, groceries, liquor store, restaurants and even a small caniceria (butcher shop). We are the transportation hub to the more secluded beaches and unique towns to the south, where access is only by water. Water taxis come and go all day to take visitors back and forth, no need for an expensive pre-paid tour, because, we are on that tour and our locals can provide everything you needs, snorkeling, diving, hiking, and fishing. If you want an zipline tour, we are central. Explore Boca and you can explore so much more.

Being from San Diego, Nick and I are long-time neighbors with Mexico, traveled the Coast of Baja fishing and snorkeling from our kayaks, fell in love with Mexico. Took advantage of a timeshare presentation and came to PV, escaped, rented a keep, set out to see where they filmed Night of the Iguana, and stumbled upon Boca, 40 minutes from downtown, stunning beaches, water, taxis, hikes. It’s beautiful here.
