This is our large family home, about 1400 sq foot with large open plan spaces and enormous bedrooms, and flooded with light. It's newly decorated throughout, and is full of character, with old style metal windows, wood paneling and beautiful parquet flooring. It's in a charming, peaceful neighbourhood, full of families who make great use of all the great award winning playgrounds and the boating lake 2 streets away. We have a cute south facing garden with outdoor seating, apple trees and climbing roses- and all you can hear is birdsong! A perfect retreat from the fantastic stimulation of london!
the house is full of toys, and crafts and paints, so if you are travelling with children, they my never want to go out! If you're adults, we'll make sure the toys are all tidied away!

Guests are spread over 3 floors, the top floor and entire loft settle bedroom with its own luxurious ensuite. All the 4 bedrooms are doubles, 3 of them enormous. The bathrooms are all modern and have pumped showers. The kitchen is all brand new, a mixture of fine English cabinetry and Miele equipment- steam oven, double oven, and all conveniences. There is an internet tv in the lounge, with a working fireplace to snuggle up too! Parking is permitted outside, and I can arrange permits for you.

I will usually be around to welcome guests and show them around the house. If I'm not around I'm always available by phone.

This is my favourite neighbourhood in london, having lived in many during my 24 years of living here. The weekend markets are incredible. On a Saturday,is the uber trendy foodie market at London Fields ( 5 mins walk). Here's you'll find every world cuisine, great deli finds and the best coffee, all of which can be enjoyed listening to the love street music and watching London's young and beautiful assemble! Flowers, vintage finds and fine wines make this a year round destination! Also in London Fields, Londons only heated outdoor swimming pool, open year round.
On a Sunday, there's the famous petticoat lane, and spitalfields markets nearby, where you can buy some of the best of East london design. Also on Sunday is my favourite market- Columbia rd flower market. A hidden gem of old school market traders hawking beautiful flowers and plants as buskers play and again, more great coffee!
For cinema and art lovers, there's the Hackney Picture House, a truly great independent cinema, bar and restaurant 5 mins walk from the house. Also the Barbican Centre, where you'll find the very best concerts, art exhibitions and theatre all year round. That's 15 mins away!
The newly opened Olympic Park is defiantly worth a visit, with the newly opened aquatic centre open to the public and all the outdoor attractions- helter skelter, outdoor orchestra pit and acres of beautifully planted canal walks. Not to mention Westfield for a quick shopping fix!
We are right between the two very popular areas of Victoria park and London Fields, which between them have an inexhaustible number of pop-up events, cocktail bars, local coffee bars and great shops- in the village we have an award winning deli, organic butcher (Ginger pig), wine shop, fish shop and bakery so you won't go hungry should you want to cook at home. The busy nightlife of Shoreditch is only 5 mins away by bus. And Central london is 15 mins away on the very reliable red central line- Londoners favourite tube line!

Public transport is super easy- on the doorstop are several
Bus routes which go either directly into town and the museums, or nearby Olympic Park or even Islington. If you want to get a tube, it's a 10
Min walk across the park (or bus ride even quicker) to Bethnal Green tube, which is served by the very reliable red central line. This will
take you to Oxford St in 15 mins. All
Of this will be detailed in the welcome pack I'll leave out for you.

I will provide a welcome pack, that will give details of all the area offers, and how to access it. All transport links and handy numbers will be included. If you need a babysitter during your stay, there are several experienced girls on the street who babysit for very reasonable rates, and I can put you on touch with (website hidden) pricing, there is a minimum stay of 2 nights. if you wish to stay for only 1 night, there would be a premium cost.

I'm Irish, living in london for the last 25 years. I'm an actress, with a passion for property development on the side! I have a 10 year old son, with whom I love to travel. Traveling is our favourite pastime, but I also love listening to and playing music, visiting art galleries, cinemas, cafe/city exploring and all the rest! I also speak Russian, and lived there for a while.
