Latta family's feedback: For our family of 8 this was an ideal flat. It's on the 6-7th floor with great views and good breeze in the evening. Downstairs the living room was spacious with plenty of seating for our large family. With 5 bedrooms and 2.5 baths we had plenty of space for all of us to enjoy. The second bath also had a handheld shower for the tub. In the evenings we gathered in the office area to watch the lights change on the Eiffel Tower as we had a glass of wine. The clothes washer was helpful during our extended stay. The location is excellent with velo bikes right on the property and 2 metro stations just blocks away. There is a bakery right around the corner which is excellent and many restaurants to choose from as well as a small market. It was a neat and clean property with lots of space in a great location.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Laurence & Gerald's place in Paris. The apartment is perfectly situated, within very close walking distance to three metro stations, grocery stores, liquor stores, restaurants, ice creameries, etc., and with stunning views straight to the Eiffel Tower! We were a family of five adults & there was more than enough room! It has a huge living area, great kitchen, a downstairs toilet, and upstairs there are two 'wings', which in total comprise five bedrooms and two bathrooms. We would highly recommend this apartment to our friends, and would definitely choose to stay here again.

We had a miserable experience here. If you choose to rent this flat, be advised: Flat is across from a fire station. Owner does not disclose this fact and we failed to check (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) street view before booking. Even though this area of the 15th arrondissement is supposed to be quiet, expect noise. In celebration of Bastille day, this fire station hosts all night parties on two nights in a row. Although owner has lived there for many years, she “did not think” to disclose this. Shower has black mildew, peeling paint, no window and no ventilation. Do not stay here if any in your party are sensitive to mold. Owner provides only one key. This made for some serious inconvenience for our party of 6. Owner also does not disclose that Metro line 6 is closed between exactly the stations you need for easy connection to other lines. [will remain closed through end Aug. 2014] Wifi went out with out any warning. Mattresses are poor. Owner leaves you very limited space in bathrooms/bedrooms for your things. Multiple layers of her bathrobes cover every hook in the tub bathroom so there is no place to hang towels. Since flat is on 7th floor, expect water pressure to be poor. Carpet in one of the single bedrooms had just been replaced and smelled to high heaven of glue/polymers. Although we tried to air it out, we couldn't leave the windows open since this bedroom was directly across from the party-hosting fire station; this bedroom was unusable to us. Kitchen has no microwave. Kitchen faucet randomly flops over, presumably to accommodate opening of the adjacent window Carpet covered with stains in second single bedroom is due for replacement. Fridge cannot accommodate much and has broken shelves in the door. Of the three teapots in the kitchen, none were clean – one had been used to heat milk; we had to toss the tea that ended up with what looked like curdled milk in the water. Peeling paint in the ceilings in multiple places; appear to be caused by water leaks [downstairs kitchen ceiling, upstairs bedroom, shower] Sleeping spaces are tucked under eaves which could be unbearable if the weather is hot. Towels are clean but worn; pillows need replacing. Typical of French flats, washer is washer/dryer combo so be advised Although Canadian and fluent in English, instructions to renters are only in French For the price being charged, you can do much better [see, for example, (URL HIDDEN) especially given that airbnb has more listings in Paris than any other European city. Good luck.

Un appartement très agréable et lumineux, avec un superbe espace de vie rare à Paris et une vue sur les toits parisiens ainsi que sur la Tour Eiffel assez unique.

We, Laurence and Gérald, are married since 24 years and we've got 4 kids.
We have been living in 15th area for ten years (after a while in Toronto, Canada) and we love this area very lively and central! And especially we love our flat, which is very special because we 've got the feeling to live in the sky with many different and great views on Paris. We are always in the natural light!
We would be very happy to offer to some people the possibility to discover Paris by staying in this typical parisian apartment!
My husband created and owned a business in gastronomy (chaîne de crêperies) and I am a history, geography teacher and a highschool principal.
Welcome in Paris! Life is beautiful!
