If you’re looking for a chic, clean, and comfortable stay in Lexington, look no further. This renovated Victorian home in downtown Lexington is within walking distance of excellent dining, distilleries, and entertainment. Attend a concert or sporting event at nearby Rupp Arena (5 minute walk), watch the horse races at Keeneland (10 minute drive down the road), tour the bourbon distillery right around the corner, or explore the unique offerings of downtown Lexington. Stay in the heart of it all!

The space
Enjoy the historic character of the home with charming architectural details, original turn of the century wood floors, and high ceilings throughout. Blending the old and the new, this house has all the updates you could ask of modern living including new plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems, updated appliances, fast internet access, a Roku smart TV, and keyless entry. Walk through the surrounding historic neighborhood for examples of Victorian architecture, and plan to stop in at Alltech’s Town Branch Distillery around the corner while you’re out! Note, the central location of the home comes with the noise of city streets, so sound machines are provided in sleeping spaces but if traffic noise disrupts you, you may want to consider a less-urban setting.

The entire home is available to you. We have free street parking (permit required- 2 provided by your hosts) right in front of the property and additional free street parking on the side road across the street (Cox St.) There is a back patio with a charcoal grill available for your use. You must provide your own charcoal. Please note: there are a set of fairly steep stairs to enter (pictured in exterior photos of the home).

The home was built in early 1900’s and is located in the midst of Lexington’s historic district. From the front porch, you can see Henry Clay’s monument located in the sprawling Lexington Cemetery. Down the road from the home, have a cup of coffee at Manchester coffee company or venture only slightly further to the James Pepper Distillery and enjoy some Crank N Boom craft ice cream or Goodfellas pizza on the outdoor patio. If brews are more your thing, try touring Alltech around the corner from the home or sample a flight from Ethereal Brewery also in the distillery district. And for the best deep tissue massage around, book before you arrive at Massage Strong- only a short drive from the house!
