Gegi's place is an excellent choice for a stay in Kutaisi, it's up hill in cathedral zone in a green and quiet site, with outside tables and trees, only 10 minutes walking from city heart. The room I stayed in was clean and nice, the bed so and so but ok. Bathroom ok. I did not meet Gegi but I was received by his uncle Jumber, who has been really kind and nice, even if he speaks only russian and georgian, so if you are looking for english speaking for having chats about Georgia or what else be sure that Gegi will be there.

My stay at Gegis house was more then perfect! Gegi and Jubi helped me to get to their place from the Minibus Station and later I learned about georgian hospitality at its best. I felt very welcome and learned so much about Georgia and had a great time with great food and very good wine ;) Totally recommend - also for women travelling alone!

the stay here was short but amazing. first day in Georgia and we had an amazing hospitality sharing the table and some traditional wine and food from Georgia. we were offered help to move around the city. the place is clean and the rooms are comfortable. a cha-cha evening is always expected with this nice people.

Jubi is the most interesting and charismatic Georgian we have ever met. We had great conversations in general and in particular about Georgia. He îs very helpful, careful, friendly and hospitable. His house is located in a very reachable part of Kutaisi and even so Jubi was kind all the time offering me a ride with his car. We had good meals and wine together, making me feel like a member of his family. Through Jubi and his house I leaved for one day like a True georgian. Thank you Jubi, even if I stayed only one night at your place, I already feel a true connection between us. I will definately contact you when I will be back in Kutaisi!

Jubi was a great host, very welcoming, he made us feel home very quickly. We had our own place with living room, bathroom, toilets and air conditioning, basically we had everything we needed. We got to have breakfasts (made by Jubi) in the garden, by the way we ate great vegetables and fruits that came straight from his garden. Communication was a bit hard at the beginning because he does not speak English well , but he was so kind, helpful and welcoming that I would totally recommend him for anyone who decide to come visit Kutaisi. He suggested to give us a lift every time we wanted to go to the city center, even though he lived 1km away from the center. He lives in a nice neighborhood, with a great view on the city. Paul

Gegi house was totally the best place of our Georgia trip, because of Jubi... He is amazing person, very warm-hearted and he really care about his guests. He helped us with EVERYTHING, we totally didnt expect such kindness! We didnt want to go back to our country after 4 days with Jumberi. His sister Marina cooks amazing, every breakfast was different and veryvery tasty. They are great people, I cant even find words to describe our stay there. If you come to Kutaisi- this is one and only place you should stay, but 3 days is minimum!!:) We were leaving this place as a truly friends with Jumberi. We really hope to see each other at least once again as fast as it possible! all the best for you Jubi!
