Y Caban Pren is located within a six acre property, three miles from Cardigan. It is set in a peaceful, rural landscape with far-reaching views from the site. The owners live in the adjacent farmhouse.
The accommodation is self-contained, and is constructed to a very high standard, with thick insulation, electric heating and double glazing to all rooms.
It is comfortably fitted out with neutral colours. In front of the cabin there is a garden area with table, chairs and raised beds.

The space
Y Caban Pren is situated within the grounds of a peaceful six acre property called Waun Lle. There are panoramic views across to the Preseli Hills and the coast from the site. It is an ideal location for a quiet and relaxing few days, away from it all but within easy driving distance to Cardigan and the coast.

Guest access
A garden area is available for guests to the front of the cabin with a table, chairs, bench and raised beds. A dedicated parking space is provided to the side of the drive and covered, secure parking is available for motorbikes and bicycles.

Other things to note
There is an information box in the cabin with OS maps, leaflets for places to visit and to eat out. There is also an information sheet covering local services.

The cabin is three miles from Cardigan where there is a range of shops and restaurants. There is a bus service from the main road. The nearest pubs are also located in Cardigan and in Aberporth, a pretty seaside village about ten minutes drive from the cabin.

There are some footpath walks nearby but most walking is along lanes. There are two small convenience stores within petrol stations in the village of Penparc which is within walking distance of the cabin.

Neighbourhood highlights

The property is about three miles from Cardigan, and is situated just off a lane which adjoins the A487, giving easy access north towards Aberystwyth and south to Cardigan and onwards into Pembrokeshire. Cardigan is a vibrant small town with two supermarkets and a good range of independent shops and eating places. Access is easy to many beautiful beaches, with Mwnt being the nearest.

I've lived in this beautiful area with my husband Simon since 2018. I really enjoy being outside in the fresh air; gardening, swimming in the sea (during the summer!) and walking. There is a great sense of community round here and I help out at Aberporth Community Fridge. I continue to learn Welsh and, whilst not fluent, I am improving!
