I've never had such considerate and thoughtful hosts on Airbnb. They thought of everything we might need including a local mobile phone to use to book restaurants. Really close to Batoni tram stop and local buses. You can get anywhere in Florence in about 30 mins. Lovely welcome basket! I would def come back!

We had a wonderful time staying in this apartment. It's small, but has everything you need for a short trip to Florence. There is a fold out bed. As well as the main bed, which is handy for friends traveling together. Our hosts were kind enough to leave is some pasta, sauce, snacks and juice when we first arrived. The apartment is about 15 minutes from the centre and train station by a tram. Lovely area, and a lovely place.

Luciano and family have gone out of their way to make this studio as welcoming, comfortable, and as useful as possible. It consists of two spaces: a sizeable rectangular living-room/kitchen/bedroom area and a sizeable L-shaped bathroom. Both spaces have unusually high ceilings, 10 to 11 feet above the floor, so the main area, in particular, feels very roomy. In addition there's plenty of cupboard and drawer space for your own things. The well-equipped kitchen facilities consist of a toaster, a four-ringed gas cooker, a gas-fired boiler for instant hot water to the taps and bathroom shower, and, if it's cold, for heating the studio's three large central-heating panels. The fridge is big, and it has a sizeable separate freezer compartment. All the pots and pans, cutlery, utensils, and crockery you could need are supplied, and in a cubby-hole at the far end of the studio there are extra useful items, such as a laundry rack and outdoor table and chairs. The wifi is good and there's a considerable number of Italian channels available on the TV. Ventilation to the main room is by way of a large pair of barred and shuttered windows which look out into the courtyard and road, but when the windows are sealed shut there's barely any sound from the adjacent narrow street. For ventilation the bathroom has its own shuttered pair of small barred windows. The shower works well and the shower-space is roomy. In addition there's a large ceramic basin, WC, bidet, as well as a good washing-machine. I was delighted to find that Luciano and family provided a reasonable supply of cooking oil, pepper, salt, sugar, tea, coffee, and other items which make preparing meals easy. And as I arrived late at night I was pleased to find they had even left me sufficient pasta, sauce, and wine to make a simple dinner, as well enough provisions for a breakfast the next morning. The studio and its contents were totally clean, the security is excellent, there's a large modern supermarket just 5 minutes' walk away, and it takes only 2 minutes on foot to reach the trams that leave for the city-centre every five minutes or so. (Buy tram tickets, for 1.20, from any Tabacchi shop in Florence.) I experienced only two problems in this accommodation, both of which might not concern other guests, but after immediately reporting each of them Luciano & family responded instantly and helpfully in each case. Communications were excellent.

We were met at the tram stop and shown to the apartment. Lucrezia showed us how to get to the supermarket and gave us a map of where was best to eat and what to see. The apartment is exactly as shown, the welcome basket was lovely! So nice to have coffee after a long journey! Kitchen is very well equipped, even had wine glass for the wine that was left for us! The location is very quiet, in a little courtyard 2 minutes from the tram stop which takes 10 mins to Firenze SMN station. The supermarket is large and well priced. We will be visiting Florence again and would definitely stay here. Thank you for having us, Lucrezia

All we needed to have a good time in Florence was there thanks to Lucrezia, Luciano and Gabriella! The apartment is really cute, really clean and everything was provided to make our stay better. Located at 10 min from the city center, tram station 100m from the apartment, and shops very close too. Lucrezia has been a super host by giving us some advice about what to do in Florence! We recommend this place to spend a WE in this beautiful city. Thanks again!

This was my first time to use Airbnb. I am glad that I stayed in this apartment for 5 nights. Luciano, his wife Gabriella and daughter Lucrezia were all wonderful hosts. They even picked up us at the airport which we were very greatful. They provided us with welcome treats, cell phone, bicycles, books, etc. Tram station is only 2 mins walk and after 5 stops, takes you to SMN train station. Highly recommended.

My wife and I love to travel and we really enjoy meeting our guests and getting to know them.
We are in love with our city and know a lot of interesting stories about it... We will be happy to share some of them with you!
Our daughter Lucrezia (who is studying Languages at the University of Florence) will most probably be the one who replies to your messages. When we are not able to come and greet you personally on the check-in day, she will be there on our behalf.
