The apartment is on the second floor of a carriage house and it is the only unit in the building. This apartment is accessible from the large, private deck by a long, exterior staircase. The deck has a private BBQ and porch furniture. Walk to historic downtown; restaurants, shops, waterfront & harbor, parks, shore path, river foot bridge & Passy River Walkway. Apartment requires a 6 night min. reservation (message us, it may be availability for a shorter stay); 10% off on monthly rentals .

The James S. Harriman house, circa 1898, was a private home for many years. It wasn’t until the 1940-50’s it became the Kooman House, and later the Curtis House (tourist homes in those days). Then it was turned into an apartment building for 25 years. In 1986-87, Alaskans Carl & Cathy Heffentrager, completely restored and decorated the mansion in period Victorian style, giving it the name of The Jeweled Turret Inn. We continue to maintain the grandeur of the Inn and enjoy welcoming new and returning guests.
