This is a small private space on my house with only one shared wall. It has it's own deck and entrance. I built the space for a corporate rental. It has everything you would need including a view of downtown in a hip little neighborhood.

The space

This is a small studio with high ceilings and everything you would need close at hand. There is only one shared wall with my house. So it is more like a nice cottage. There is no one above or below. The bed is a comfortable queen size.

Guest access

You have access to everything in the room and your private patio. You also have full access to the front yard and my front porch if you are feeling social. Summer time guest are also welcome to the full bounty of my 2000 SqFt organic garden.

Interaction with guests

I may or may not be here during your stay. If I am I enjoy having a drink and watching the sunset from my porch most days and often have a few friends join me. I am a good guide for the area and can point you in the right direction ether in person or by phone if I am not around. I have lived in my house for 23 years so I know the area pretty good.

Mike's apartment was a perfect place to relax and a great home base to check out SLC. Not much in the way of space but the location and the comfortable bed made it a great place to stay. Minutes from downtown, but secluded enough from the hustle and bustle.

This Airbnb was such a cute place. Small, but has everything you could need. It was in a great location, very clean, & exactly like the description. The host was very nice & communicated with us well. I would definitely stay here again in the future!

Mike's studio is the perfect home for your stay in SLC. Mike is easy to communicate with and even gave us restaurant suggestions for dinner. The Red Iguana is a must! You won't be disappointed with this small, cozy studio.

Mike was very flexible and easy to communicate with! The room was perfect for the quick trip I needed it for. The shower is in the shared bedroom which was a little odder then I thought it would be when staying there but everything was clean and explained appropriately. Mike offered assistance with anything I might have needed which was very thoughtful. I was out with family all day so the space was adequate.

We were remodeling and needed to escape for a couple of nights. Mike's place was easy to find, great location, and great value. Only negative was that air conditioner was a bit noisy. Otherwise perfect. Thank you Mike!

I love being an AirBnB host. I understand the world of travel and I work hard to make sure you stay is better than your expectations. I believe my five star reviews and my super host status reflect that.

I moved to Salt Lake in '92 to Snowboard the "Greatest Snow on Earth". I fell in love with the city and state and have not left.

I am an Engineer by Degree. I currently work for myself as a landlord and have several properties in Downtown Salt Lake.

I am well traveled. I have been in every state in the United States and have been in over forty other country. Mostly in Latin America, Europe and Asia. I traveled for work and have stayed in every level of hotel from high to low. I have traveled on my own money and have stayed numerous hostels and shacks.

I love adventure and have a true passion for life. I snowboarding, dirtbikeing, surfing, burningman and traveling. I have a very unique life and I love it. Your bookings help support that life and I thank you for that.
