What a place. Wake up in the morning to a beautiful sunrise, with some new animal pals. Felicia was just a perfect host, very attentive. Provided things we didn't even think Of, such as ice. Our 2 year old adored feeding the animals and things, and the breakfast provided was just phenomenal. Lovely drive to the ranch too. Highly recommended excuse to leave 101!

Cammata Ranch is a wonderful place! I stayed in the Buffalo bungalow with my husband, 7 year old son, and my mum & dad. We stayed just 1 night and had an amazing exsperience, when we arrived the sun had just set, so we built a fire in the fire pit outdoors, and built the bbq with logs. Matches / wood was all supplied. It was fantastic. The bungalow was just as you imagine, authentic through and through, with cosy clean bedding and fresh towels. This is defiantly a place to come to exsperience something new, an alternative calmer, more chilled way of life. The breakfast was great in the morning, with so much choice. And some homemade items by Felicia. After breakfast we took a tour of the ranch and looked at all the animals, our son collected eggs from the chicken pen with Felicia it was so lovely to see. Felicia is a wonderful host, and she is defiantly offering something very special here. We will defiantly visit again if we get the chance! We stayed of here on our road trip from LA to SF and it was a bout a 30min trip east from San Luis obisbo. Didn't take us too far out of our route as you can take a different road strait up and across to get back on the highway!

Felicia is a wonderful host. She was very accommodating for our late arrival time, made us an amazing banana bread pudding for breakfast and took us on a wonderful tour of the ranch, the fossils and its wide range of animals. The ranch is truly a piece of heaven on earth, and I would highly recommend it to everyone who wants to get away from it all for a few days. We'll be back!

An amazing experience on a genuine ranch. Totally unexpected highlight of a long trip. Felicia was a lovely host who treated us to a 'safari' tour of the extensive grounds. The name of the cabin is no lie, the buffalo really do come to just outside the porch to drink at night and in the morning. But the fun does not stop there. There are many more animals to look at and places to walk to. We also appreciated the lovely breakfast in the morning. Another bonus was the star filled sky at night - the ranch is far from any sources of light pollution.
