Our stay at Train Spot was really amazing! It's in a traditional small town (Beirã) near Marvão, and the entire concept of staying in an old train station is such a unique experience. The breakfast that was included was a lot of great food, the staff was very friendly, and dealing with Eduardo was so easy. He's a really great guy, with a lot of knowledge to share. His excitement for what he does, and his passion for the area is really infectious, and made our stay one that we'll never forget.

Very charmant place where you can imagine how it must have been like waiting for a train in this part of the country. Don't miss the adjacent building where you will admire beautiful tiled walls. Room cozy and clean. At night with window open no mosquitoes and a fan if too hot. Bed very comfortable with my own private washroom. João, the young host was very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this B&B for a back in time experience.

We spent one night at Train Spot. It is a wonderfull and unique place that worth to visit. The principal house is furnished in a really modern and nice way, with charming spots to have a rest and enjoy. You can feel like having dinner in the last century in the big saloon which was the station restaurant. The small house in which we have stayed was really cozy and we enjoyed a lot the beauty of the area and the small village. The host is really nice and welcoming and we will really recomend this wonderfull place to our friends!

We were warmly welcomed by Eduardo who showed us to our apartment and the communal lounge and dining areas. We met Lina the following morning and she made us feel like family and was eager to please and to make sure we had a good time. The listing was accurate and the apartment was quaint and cosy. The House was located in the small and pretty village of Beira, at the bottom of Marvao. Lina provided us with many useful ideas for visiting the region, and a highlight for us was the small winding road through the rocky countryside that we took for a quick visit to Spain. As we loved the big warm cosy wood fire in the main lounge we spent every evening enjoying apero there before dinner. Breakfast was good and hearty.
