Between Two Bridges 2BD -Whole Apt!

Apartment - Entire home/flat · Oliver Street, New York, NY 10038, United States

The Space

Located on an historic block near the Lower East Side between Chinatown, City Hall, the Financial District and the East River Waterfront. The A,C, 2, 3, 4, 5 ,6, J, Z, B, D and F trains are all in walking distance.

The apartment is a short two flight walkup in a clean, safe, well-maintained building.

Love to shop? Soho is a 5 minute stroll away.

A serious foodie? Anthony Bourdain's favorite noodle shop is around the corner.

A history buff? Stroll across the Brooklyn Bridge with coffee in hand.

All about art and music? The city's hottest galleries and shows happen on the LES.

Your master bedroom is sunny and serene with a view of the Frank Gehry building. Sleep soundly on a tempurpedic bed and wake up to coffee or tea with light breakfast included. Wifi, linens and towels provided too.

The living room also has a modernist futon that folds flat into a bed if you prefer.

The smaller office/tiny bedroom gets a nice afternoon light with a vintage drafting table and a chair. There's also a OTTOMAN that pulls out into a TWIN BED (cool, no?)

***Note*** The room is small so you'll have to partially fold up the bed to fully open the door unless you're hipster thin. ;)

Also, as this is a family building, please be respectful of our apartment, our neighbours and the building.

We're a couple (painter and writer) who travel often. From Budapest to Mumbai, we've experienced incredible hospitality throughout the world and want your stay in NYC to be just as rewarding.

Interaction with Guests

We will not be at the apartment during your stay. You will have the whole place to yourself. Call, text or email us if you need anything during your stay!

NOTE: We are 12 hours ahead in Bangkok, but will do our best to answer all inquiries promptly.

Getting around

The A,C, 2, 3, 4, 5 ,6, J, Z, B, D and F trains are all in walking distance.

There's the Express M15 bus stop just outside of the apartment. This is a very fast and convenient connection to 14th Street, Midtown and Upper East Side.

Getting here from the airport by taxi:
LGA ~ 30min
JFK ~ 40min (depending on traffic, of course)

Other Things to Note

There are couple of months in the summer and winter season that are listed at the higher rate of $3100 per month.

This increase is due to the pricey electric bill during the summer months. And in winter months, it's often pricey for us to find other accommodation.

Thanks for understanding.

  • This is an awesome apartment and the location is great; all the positive reviews were indeed, well deserved. The flat is stylish and comfortable and it is equipped with everything one could need.

Although we didn't see Mikki face to face, she was always there for any questions or recommendations. We had a great time in NYC!

Thank you so much for a lovely stay!

  • The apartment though a little small is clean and functional and well situated. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

    August 2013
  • We ended up having to cut our stay short, and Mikki and her assistant responded immediately and were more than helpful in assisting us with everything we needed. Awesome, friendly owners!

    August 2012
  • A really lovely flat, calm room and attentive, friendly hosts. Anyone that buys Chinatown pork buns for breakfast is fine by me! Also the cutest dog ever. I only stayed briefly, but had a lovely welcome and felt very comfortable.

I'm a senior creative director currently dividing my time between New York City and Bangkok. I create ad campaigns for a living, but I live to travel. My partner Bazi is a photographer and painter. We've booked with Airbnb throughout the world and decided to become hosts to return the favor. My favorite city: Istanbul My most recent trip: Myanmar Food I can't live without: Soup dumplings (xiao long bao) I love helping guests plan the perfect meal -- from that hard to find taco truck in Queens to scoring reservations at Momofuku Ko. If it's tasty in NYC, chances are I know about it.
