Room w/full private bath and dedicated courtyard entry in my personal lodge-style home. Walking distance to Masters Course, shopping, restaurants. Close to downtown, I-20, Canal trails. Includes shared access to courtyard with fire pit, hot tub, outdoor deck seating and tables, ideal for morning coffee or afternoon relaxing. It does NOT include access to rest of the house. Room has TV w/cable and Fire Stick for your accounts. In-room microwave, mini-fridge, Keurig and coffee included.

The space
1. The room is modeled as an industrial loft space. It has rough-sawn wood beams, exposed painted ductwork, and several painted block walls for a unique experience. The entry is through a pair of double doors which can be opened for an enlarged indoor/outdoor experience with the adjacent courtyard, hot tub and fire table.
2. For your convenience, this room now has independently guest-controlled heating and air conditioning, vented directly to the outside. Please be reasonable with the use of the unit.
3. In order to keep costs down, I do not charge a cleaning fee and instead clean the room myself to what has generally been described as "man clean" standards.
4. This is one of two guest bedrooms in my personal home that I host out. I am just one person trying to pay my bills. That is the point of AirBnB and the reasons you pay only a fraction of hotel rates.

Where you’ll be

Augusta, Georgia, United States

The house is located on a street that dips down into a small wooded valley. Although a typical suburban subdivision, it is relatively quiet and secluded. There is not much traffic on the street because the only people typically using it are those who live on the street. Although secluded, the neighborhood is nestled just behind a main commercial road which includes both sit-down and fast food restaurants, grocery and convenience stores, and a theater. This commercial street intersects with Interstate 20 two miles to the West and the Historic Downtown (and active entertainment district) four miles to the East. Within an approximate 1 mile walking distance is a Fresh Market grocery, Dollar General store, Olive Garden Restaurant, CVS drugstore, Vallarta's Mexican Restaurant, a Shell and Exon Gas station/convenience store.
The city's hiking, biking and kayaking canal trail system can be accessed from the park at the end of the main neighborhood street. See the trail map in the pictures for details.
