Plenty of natural light with three windows (and black out curtains !), and very quiet since we are not facing the street. Full- size bed comfortable for one or two adults , genuine Tempurpedic mattress for extra comfort !

This place is perfect: close to the subway, easy walking to nightlife, a great breakfast spot downstairs. Amelie is a wonderful host - everything clean, fresh towels, all in order. She was easy to work with - I arrived a little early, had to leave a little late, and she was flexible with me to accommodate my travel plans. I'd stay there again in a heartbeat if I have business in that neighborhood again.

My wife and I were visiting New York for one night to see a concert at Webster Hall, and Amelie's apartment was the perfect place to stay. Her description - "sunny, cozy and quiet" - is spot on, and the surrounding neighborhood was full of great little restaurants and coffee shops. The apartment is located within easy walking distance of several subway stations, and the trip to Penn Station, from which we were arriving and departing, was less than 20 minutes using the ACE/BD trains. It was easy to communicate with Amelie even though she was out of town during our visit, and she was incredibly responsive to our emails and texts. Checking in and out was a breeze. We would definitely stay here again, and would recommend it to anyone visiting NYC for a short stay.

While Amelie was away in Europe, she was very attentive to ensure that I felt comfortable staying at her place. She made sure that she emailed/texted right away whenever I had any questions. Her place is small and cozy. The best part about her place is the location. It's close to Chinatown, Little Italy, East Village, and subway stations. Highly recommend!

It's been a family tradition to host visitors in our house, so it came naturally to become a host for my apartment in New York.
I work in Fashion in the city, I have a busy schedule and am rarely home. I spend most of my free time in the Soho/Nolita area and am always happy to share good addresses for shopping, restaurant and nightlife.
