Cottage is next to a traditional pub/restaurant well renowned for the lovely meals served.

The Hadrians Wall bus which runs from Easter to October stops just around the corner from the cottage.

The cottage is within walking distance of the iconic Hadrian’s Wall. The best part of the wall runs for about 6 miles east and west of cottage.
The Hadrians Wall bus stops just around the corner from the cottage. This runs from Easter to October.
Small town of Haltwhistle is 30 minutes walk away.
Haltwhistle is known as the Centre of Britain and boasts an outdoor swimming pool open from Easter to September.
There are many circular walks nearby and also cycle trails.
Vindolanda and The Roman Army Museum are a short drive away as is Housesteads which are all roman sites and well worth a visit.
Carlisle is 26 miles west and Newcastle 38 miles east.
