Completely renovated and tastefully done to be a cozy retreat. Cottage right off Lake Loraime State Park. Everything you'd need for a week long getaway with the family or a short stay on your way through.

The space
This listing is for use of the whole home including backyard and all levels of house.

The house is on a well, and water at times can be hard or have an odor to it. I provide a Brita water purification system in the fridge for drinking water, but some guests still mention it and I want to give a heads up.

I’ve mentioned it elsewhere in the listing, but want to reiterate this point. The stairs that go to the second floor are steep and there is not a railing at the top of the stairs either. The upstairs also is one room consisting of a full sized bed and futon with extra sheets. People have mentioned that it’s not super private - so I want to be upfront. Please take this into consideration before booking if you plan on using the upstairs space. I would not recommend having children and or people whom have a hard time maneuvering going upstairs.
