We were not happy with this apartment. We were fined €10 for being late due to a Train delay... This was out of our control and we were shocked that we had to pay a fine. Airbnb is supposed to be a hospitable accommodation website. The bathroom was filthy and the site said there were two actually there is one shower and one toilet. For 8 guests as advertised this would be awful. Luckily we were only 3 so it was just okay. On leaving we were 15 mins late on checking out and the maid cursed us in Spanish and started taking photos of our luggage and the trash we were taking out. She didn't even let us check if we had left anything behind. Completely RUDE after having to pay so much. We were greeted by someone who didn't speak much English or have any advice for us.. The apartment was EMPTY. No sugar, salt, tea or toilet paper.... Seriously after all the reviews you would think they would at least give you some thing for the price. It seems habitat apartments have confused apartment letting and Airbnb which is supposed to be an entirely different experience. On a good point the AC worked very well and the location is good. But be prepared for fines and rude maids.

The Good: The apartment is in a central location, very roomy, and nicely updated. Air conditioning in main hall and bedroom was appreciated. Host contacted prior to check in to arrange the check in time The Bad: Firstly, since no apartment number was provided, no one was there to greet us. We were there for 30 minutes and had to call Habitat apartments before anyone showed up. Secondly, without any prior warning (nothing on description or post-booking communication) host's agent asked for 30 Euro for taxes and my credit card number (which was then written on a piece of paper...unsafe!!!) before I was given the apartment. Apartment was not cleaned (thick layer of dust on dining table, behind the table, and the second bedroom) appropriately. Towels were not washed properly, and stank (rancid smell). While this is being nitpicky, kitchen had no essentials stocked (I am saying not even salt, pepper, and sugar!). Essentially it was like staying in a hotel without any of the benefits provided by a hotel. Please note this apartment is managed by a company named "Habitat Apartments".
