Where you’ll be

Dayton, Ohio, United States

Alpha was originally one of the oldest villages in Greene County, Ohio. Alpha is currently a small, friendly, community neighborhood in Beavercreek, filled with lovely historic homes and located on the eastern side of the Dayton metropolitan area.

A post office called Alpha has been in operation since 1850. Alpha was named for the first letter of the Greek alphabet because it was at the site of the first mill in the county - Alpha Seed & Grain.

Alpha was the location of a railway station stop of the Pittsburgh, Cincinnati, Chicago and St. Louis Railroad. The railway was removed and turned into the Creekside Trail bike & hike path which connects to 340+ mikes of regional paved bike trails - the nation's largest!

Hi, I'm Lulu! I grew up in Massachusetts and moved to the Dayton, Ohio area 30 years ago with my Air Force husband. We settled here because it's an amazing area in which to raise a family. I remodel houses, and love gardening, inspirational books, & the ocean. I've met some pretty awesome people as an Airbnb host. My philosophy is that it's always a great day to have a great day!
