I have been living and working in the small east coast village of Helmsdale for many years after moving from Edinburgh in the mid-'70s. I ran the local crafts gifts and visitor information shop on the harbour front in Helmsdale which I thoroughly enjoyed until I decided to have a change of direction and host B&B from Selkie House. I thoroughly enjoy meeting people and hearing about their journey to Helmsdale and travel experiences in Scotland especially on the NC500 route which has recently become so popular . A big thank you to my daughter Iona and my Son in Law Will for all their help and expertise with the photos and advertising.
