The space
Located in a small square of the high Albaicín, the oldest area of Granada, enjoys beautiful views over the Albaicín, the hill of the Alhambra with Sierra Nevada in the background with partial views of the Sacromonte and the Dehesa del Generalife.

The interiors are contemporary and bright. Neutral colours, stone flooring on the ground floor and wood on the bedroom floor, works of art by friends painters, furniture and luminaries of contemporary European production in contrast to the outdoor life of the courtyard and garden. An easy to use space, but also comfortable and cozy.

On the lower floor, all main rooms are orientated towards the exterior patio. The living room opens to the garden and pool, which looks like an extension of the house. Furnished with 2 sofas, coffee table, desk table and chairs. TV, hi-fi and a large collection of books on architecture and design.

Little pool, unheated, available from April 01st - October 31st.

Guest access
All the space is available to guests and only for them, although there are two closed rooms, the studio and the engine room.
Both are accessed from the porch, but with independent entrances and no one will go there during your stay, unless you need it.

Other things to note
Small non heated swimming pool open from 1 April to 31 October.
Length 3,80m, width 1,80m, depth 1,60m.
Watch out for kids who can’t swim!

If you come in your own car let us know so we can arrange everything.
There is a free parking space available, but it is small: if your car exceeds any of these lengths 466ctm x width 190ctm x height 168ctm, or is square -front and back- it just won’t fit! We will help you.
We will also ask for permission to access your car to the Albaicín, which is a restricted traffic zone.

Be careful with the garage door.
You must wait until it is completely closed and the motor has stopped, so that it does not reopen if you walk through it, causing the sensor to reopen the door.
Of course, you must check that no other doors are left open.

Check-in is from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
If you plan to arrive later than 7 p.m., we will charge an additional fee of €20. From 10 p.m. to midnight, the fee is €40. Except in justified cases!

Where you’ll be

Granada, Andalucía, Spain

The Albaicin - declarate Heritage of the Humanity - is the most ancient zone of Granada: the Iberians settled themselves in this sunny hillside of the river Darro forming an important city that the Romans knew as Illiberis. The most ancient found remains, closely together of the house, are those of a great defensive Iberian wall of the 8th century B.C.
Later, Romans, visigodos, Muslims and again Christians have lived through the city that expands since then towards the second river, the Genil.
It is there where one finds now the historical center of the city, commercial district.
This beautiful hill of the Albaicin, which with the red hill of the Alhambra covers the river Darro, is formed by a network of narrow streets, you cost and placetas of Roman tracing, as the cisterns and irrigation ditches that give since then water to housings, gardens and gardens.
A magic valley of low walls crowned with vegetation, colors and aromas, with the acoustic very special one, but overcoat with a strange and extraordinary light, result of the location of Granada, very to the south of Europe and simultaneously with a high level on the sea.

The extraordinary monumental heritage, walls, palaces and churches, that denotes the passage of the civilizations that have occupied it, cobbled streets full of life and atmosphere, offer poetic corners and diversity of restaurants and bars with terraces where to enjoy a drink with free top, as is local custom.

In the upper part of the Albaicín is the viewpoint of San Nicolás, a must visit with magnificent views of the valley of Darro that goes into the Sacromonte, the Abbey and in Padre Eterno, the Alhambra with the mountain chains of Sierra Nevada as a backdrop. But the best, always, the light.

Main points:
Viewpoint of San Nicolás
Abbey of the Sacromonte
Casa de Castril - archaeological museum
Churches, manor houses and palaces, ancient walls
Bathrooms - relaxation thermal circuit
