## Welcome to Motel Montreal!

Hello and welcome to the Motel Montreal, your perfect retreat located at the heart of Lake George in the stunning Adirondack Mountains!

Our family-run haven promises both comfort and convenience, and we can't wait to share it with you. Here’s everything you need to make your stay enjoyable and affordable.

### Our Story:
In 2020, my family and I decided to breathe new life into the Motel Montreal. With a lot of love and local craftsmanship, we transformed it into cozy rooms and suites. Each space reflects the rich history and culture of Lake George and the Adirondacks with handmade furnishings and practical amenities. Our goal? To make sure you feel comfortable and at ease during your stay.

We understand that some people might have reservations about the word "Motel." If you can't get over that, we kindly ask you to reconsider booking with us. We are investing our time, money, and lives into retrofitting these amazing pieces of American history, preserving their charm and character for future generations.

Our family's journey to re-imagine the mom-and-pop motels of yesteryear into a comfortable, value-conscious retreat is a labor of love and preservation. We believe in the importance of preserving history rather than throwing it away. By repurposing rather than demolishing, we contribute to environmental sustainability and maintain the unique charm of our heritage. We invite you to experience the warmth of a family business, the pride of small business in America, and the beauty of historical preservation.

### Amenities:
Our amenities include a seasonal outdoor pool, a fire pit for evening relaxation, and a BBQ area. Everything you need, from shops and restaurants to entertainment, is just a short walk away.

Lives in Lake George, New York
We are a family owned small business dedicated to restoring roadside lodging of yesteryear. Being based in the Adirondacks of upstate New York, our restorations include a rustic element with lots of woodworking and handmade furniture sourced from local tree farms and made by local artisans. We are big believers in shopping as local as possible and supporting other small businesses. Every listing has its own story and we can't wait to share it with our guests. My wife and three children live in Lake George and we are here to answers any questions about our properties or provide recommendations about fun activities in the Adirondacks or on Lake George.
