The sound of the surf, whispering wind moving shimmering leaves, and the scent of wildflowers and herbs stimulated all your senses on arrival. What good therapy for stress, sit here and just take it all in and your troubles will just float away in this perfect location.

The 7 holiday homes are set in a new African-Mediterranean style building that nestles in pastures between mature trees only 50 meters from the beach. You have private access to the beach via a short track that passes beautiful horses and the odd chicken and turkey.

The Beach is wide and sandy with a few rock pool areas to explore and washed clean twice a day by a pristine deep blue Atlantic ocean. This definitely is a piece of secret Spain.

Zahora Beach - 3000 metres long and 40 metres wide – is in the Cape of Trafalgar (next to the Caños de Meca). The beach, with its fine sand and ideal wind conditions, is ideal for Windsurfing, Kitesurfing, Surf, SUP, Kayaking, and bodyboarding.

The beach begins in the area of Mangueta where, in the middle of the last century, the old Civil Guards Headquarters used to be located and it comes to an end at the famous Trafalgar Lighthouse.

Besides the wonderful sunsets, the most spectacular aspect of this beach is the huge reef that appears at low tide, together with the formation of an enormous lagoon with shallow water, where the youngest members of the family can enjoy bathing in complete safety. Fishing is also very popular on this beach, especially on the reef mentioned above.

Without a doubt, Zahora is an ideal place to spend a holiday, whether as a family, with a partner, or unaccompanied. The area offers all essential services, thus ensuring nobody is in need of anything.
The beauty of Zahora can be appreciated from all angles. A leisurely stroll at dusk, the breathtaking sunset, a restful siesta and the abundance of nature make Zahara a perfect place to spend some unforgettable days. Quality of life in abundance.

Zahora is the perfect base for discovering the charms of the province of Cádiz and the Costa de la Luz. Located in the centre of the coast of Cádiz, there are nearby destinations of great interest that are barely an hour’s drive away; such as Cádiz, Puerto Santa María, Jerez de la Frontera, Tarifa, Vejer, Conil or Zahara de los Atunes, Bolonia... All deserve to be seen!

I am from Cadiz, coming to Zahora Beach since before I was born and at the age of 18, I flew away. I studied in Madrid, Copenhagen (Denmark) and California (USA), where I started to fall in love with the mix of cultures and flavours. In 2006 I started working for an American company and all the money I earned was invested in my dream, CASARA. I have worked in international press and communications in Egypt, Angola, Maldives, Iraq, Ghana, Botswana, Slovakia, Turkey, Turks and Caicos Islands, and Puerto Rico. The work was exhausting and when I had holidays, I came to Cadiz to "fine-tune" CASARA. Here I realised that I slept better, felt better and that this area had a healing effect.
There is nothing I love more than travelling, my heart is full of memories and experiences from all these countries. I travelled for work and also to disconnect from work. I was one of those crazy people who knew the airports better than the streets of her city.
After having a life like in a movie, interesting, funny and exhausting, stories to write a book and also some stories to keep me awake at night, I decided to stop and travel in Asia for 1 year.
During this period I realised that I missed my roots and returned to Cadiz in 2017 to dedicate myself 100% to CASARA.
The return was not easy, but I knew I was where I wanted to be and I was doing what I most wanted to do in the world, conceiving and organising CASARA, building an oasis of peace and tranquillity.
I consider myself a nomad and a traveller, I have been to more than 40 countries and thanks to my international experience, I gained a global vision of what hospitality is and how valuable it is to feel at home.
Call me a romantic, but I believe in love, friendship, local commerce and sustainable development. We go through life so fast that we forget what is really important.
My passions are CASARA, meeting new people, trying new flavours, living new experiences, travelling, running, cycling and sharing laughs with friends. I consider myself addicted to life.
"Thanks to life that has given me so much", yes, thanks to life for having given me a dream life and also, thanks to my dear father, thanks to my dear mother for always being my pillar and thanks to all the people who have supported me.
My aim is that the guest always finds a welcoming atmosphere, beautiful and bright spaces, friendly people and things made with love. I try to keep our prices affordable and accessible to most people so that the cottages can be experienced and enjoyed. I consider myself to be a very detailed and helpful person and I am very excited that you will discover this little piece of Andalusia and thus help the development of this wonderful region.
I would be glad to help you find the house that suits you and discover what will become your favourite places.

During your stay

We are a call/message away. In case of emergency, we are at the property in less than 5 minutes.

I arrived at this place with them, my parents
Back then I did not understand anything about time measures, not days, hours
I left and returned
And I inhabited it, I filled it with a part of myself, with my colors, with my stuff and my life
And I offer it to you, for you to fill it with a part of yourself, to make it yours as it is mine, and for you to live in it as I do
As I wish you can find peace in it, and greet you goodbye
Always,
Sara
