Come spend the night under the sky in our one of a kind hut. Nestled in an enchanted Appalachian holler, you will enjoy views of the night sky from the comfort of your queen bed. The heater and heated blanket are sure to keep you cozy on cold nights. In the morning, enjoy our complimentary organic farm eggs, oatmeal, french press coffee and tea. Hang out with the sheep, goats and chickens grazing on the edge of the forest. Take a stroll on our trail or enjoy a nap in the hammocks.

The space
Our driveway is clearly marked with our address, just follow the signs to your parking spot. Upon arrival I will gladly show you around the space and prepare a fire. Walk down a few stairs to be immersed in a private mossy holler and see your stargazing hut. We hand built this one of a kind hut from locally sourced, upcycled materials to create an environment for making lifelong memories. With the fire going you'll be ready to kick back relax and make smores.
After a night of stargazing your kitchenette will provide everything you need for a delicious breakfast. Just outside the dutch door there is a propane stove and all the necessities to cook your fresh organic eggs, oatmeal and coffee provided. Everything you need for a hot shower is here, just head up the stairs and stroll across the yard to the shower area. We kept the shower stall roofless so you can stargaze or daydream all day. The connected changing room has power and light, Rubbermaid’s full of clean towels and wash clothes and a roof for bad weather.
We line dry all the linens to promote a healthy planet and compost the eggshells and coffee grounds. Our chickens free range and are fed 100% organic.

My wife (Katy) and I are adventure guides. For over 10yrs we have been whitewater rafting, zip lining, horse back riding and llama hiking here in the Smokies. We live on an 11.5 acre organic farm where we try to live a self sustaining lifestyle in our '58 greyhound tour bus. Our goal is to lighten our footprint in life. We prefer not to buy things new. As artists we look for opportunities to upcycle creatively, and our property is our canvas. We are avid animal lovers and often rescue and foster. Our love for nature's beauty and preservation guide us in our journey. "The mountains are calling and I must go." -John Muir

During your stay

We will be here to check you in and show you around. The holler seems to block phone service so please be prepared. We will check up on you and prepare a fire but we value your privacy.
