Discover tranquility in this black and white bedroom, nestled in a cozy home on the doorstep of the Rocky Mountains. Conveniently close to a plethora of outdoor activities, renowned universities, and vibrant cities along the Front Range.

This is a great spot for visiting scholars as we are a 15 minute bus ride from Colorado State University. It is also great for people moving to the area while they search for a more permanent home.

The space
The Orchid House Black & White guest room has a queen bed with crisp white linens. There is a window with morning light, a desk and a closet. It is in the lower level of the home, down half a flight of stairs. The guest bathroom doubles as the laundry room next to your room. Tucked away in the lower level you will find privacy and security with a key-locked door.

The home offers two living rooms, two bathrooms, and a large kitchen/dining area. In a suburban setting, the space provides a unique blend of charm and modern aesthetics. Enjoy the spacious, fully fenced backyard adorned with a furnished patio, flowering plants, hammocks, and above-ground pool during the warmer months. In the winter you might see Holliday decorations and a fire burning in the wood stove.

Our neighborhood exclusively allows stays of 30 days or more, ideal for extended stays. Indulge in the comfort of this welcoming space, where a harmonious blend of style and functionality awaits your extended stay.

Guest access
The community kitchen is kept very clean, and is fully loaded with appliances, dishes, and cooking tools. You are welcome to enjoy all common areas of the home and use the laundry room. We only ask that guests respect and care for our home and the things in it. There are also bikes and garage space to borrow.

During your stay
There are two friendly cats and one extra-friendly dog in residence. The home is a LGBTQ+ safe space, and non-religious and open and welcoming to everyone. The hosts are graduate students, introverts, enjoy traveling and exploring restaurants, and have lived in the area for more 20 years.
