Welcome to ‘Salty’s’, our beautiful grade 2 fisherman’s cottage, just 2 minute from the town centre & harbour.

It comfortably sleeps 5, is dog-friendly & has a gorgeously cosy log-burning stove.

NEW FOR 2022: we now have a free parking space for our guests to utilise!

Your kids will love the free WiFi, HUGE smart tvs, games, books, toys & Nintendo Wii. Adults; you'll love the views from the bedrooms and our private courtyard, overlooking the town.

The space
Our cottage is perfect for holiday makers who want to be close to the harbour, shops, bars & restaurants. Salty’s is ideal, as it’s in a peaceful area, but ‘slap-bang’ in the centre! We’ve got a cosy wood burning stove for winter; and sunny, private courtyard for summer evenings . . . The kids will be happy with the Smart TVs, free WiFi and Nintendo Wii too!

Our cottage is just a 2 minute walk to the harbour - great for catching a ferry to Torquay or Dartmouth

It is a 4 minute walk to the Co-op (perfect for your weekly shop)

It’s a 5 minute walk to the Marina, where our kids love to go crabbing!

It’s a 10 minute walk to Breakwater Beach. It’s highly recommended that you visit Breakwater Bistro - watch the boats and resident seals, and the sunrises & sunsets are spectacular!

It’s a 20 minute walk to the Beautiful Berry Head - great for dog walking, and admiring the view.

We love walking to Fishcombe Cove, via the Battery Gardens - it’s a definite must!

We warmly invite you to Brixham, and most importantly, to 'Salty's'! We purchased our cottage in December 2018, and have given it a full, and complete revamp. From brand new furniture, accessories and mod-cons, we feel that it ticks every box! We also decided to provide our guests with free WiFi, flatscreen TVs, Netflix and a Nintendo Wii (our children demanded it!)

We personally love everything about Brixham, and these are the reasons why: (Website hidden by Airbnb)
* The restaurants
* The people - it's a bustling, working port with a very friendly atmosphere, and plenty of characters to boot!
* The history - the allied forces set off from Brixham in 1944. British engineers built the slipway, which is still used today
* The great outdoors - We recommend walking to the beautiful Marina, and following the coastal path past Breakwater Beach, and onto Berry Head Nature Reserve. It's almost guaranteed that you'll see seals, and/or porpoises (a shoal of dolphins even visited the harbour on Christmas day 2019!) You can also take part in many water activities, including canoeing & diving.
