Costa Teguise is located about 6 km north of Arrecife, the capital of the island, and approximately 14 km from Lanzarote Airport. Costa Teguise is one of the most popular tourist resorts in Lanzarote, offering numerous restaurants, shops, and car rental agencies. Although there isn't a real city center, long walks along the beach are dotted with cafes and pleasant parks. Costa Teguise is home to the only water park and one of the two golf courses in Lanzarote. The Royal Residence of La Mareta, acquired by King Hussein of Jordan and redesigned by Cesar Manrique, was bequeathed to the Spanish royal family. The city boasts beautiful beaches, with the warmth tempered by an ocean breeze throughout the year. Playa de las Cucharas, the largest and main beach with white sand, is well-known for windsurfing and is a 10-minute walk from Club Teguisol.
