There is a 13Amp weather proof socket ideal for charging electric vehicles if you bring your own hookup cable etc - please let me know if you need this switched on. As all vehicles are different we are not able to put a cost to this extra and would appreciate if you left cash to cover the electricity used - my tariff with SSE is 18.24p per kWh.

Guest access
The cottage is ideally situated at the foot of Mow Cop Castle (an 18th century ‘folly’ owned by the National Trust and giving our cottage its name). The castle is a short walk (steep) from the front door and commands 360° views over seven counties (Cheshire, Lancashire, Staffordshire, Derbyshire, Shropshire, Flintshire and Denbighshire). The view from the cottage itself is equally impressive – with the folly on one side and making the most of its hillside location it has panoramic views over the Cheshire plains from the other side.

We have quite a few guests that combine their stay with going to weddings in the area.
